Center Apartment Catania

Very good, central location. The apartment is fairly big, there are two queen beds and a bunk bed. There's no living room per se but I guess that's fine, you get a small kitchen with a small dining area and the two bedrooms, one normal size and the other one very large, both with access to small balconies. The host gave us city directions, information about beaches, restaurants and supermarkets.

Everything the other reviews mentioned are basically true, some things are more annoying than others, but I guess you can live with most of them: one TV didn't work at all, like the cable was not connected; the other one needed you to go through the setting process every time; the shower could use a repair; wall paint in bad condition in many places; noise from some kind of machine, occasionally; no blinds at all or air conditioning in the kitchen; fairly gloomy street but we didn't feel unsafe; narrow staircase; no soap or anything in the bathroom (we came from another location in Catania that had *everything*); host was pretty demanding (don't place your suitcases on the furniture, make sure you don't scratch the hob - common sense stuff, but unpleasant to hear, especially given the state the furniture and hob were in anyway); no extra linens or pillows; overall cleanliness was not the best.
