Gannel Hideaway

Property was lovely, very comfortable, clean and well maintained and had everything we needed. It was good value for money and in a perfect location, only a short walk to the beaches, town, shops bars etc. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Cute, compact unit with pretty much everything you need. Nice and modern, well maintained and quality fit out.

The unit gets incredibly, uncomfortably hot, even when it’s not a particularly hot day. Fan provided but doesn’t do a lot when it’s about 40 degrees in there. I’d highly recommend not staying here in summer unless the owner decides to provide air conditioning or install secure fly screens.

This property lived up to its name of being a 'hideaway' - I loved that I could come and go as I pleased through my own gate. I enjoyed being so close to the water - just a few minutes' walk away. The host - Peter - was very accommodating re: key pickup. The place was spotless, just the right size for me, and had a well-equipped kitchen for making simple meals. Loved having an outdoor space to myself too. I'd go again.

First impression was good, very clean and bright. Central for most places of visit, good view of the Gannel and walking distance to fiscal beach!

Very hot inside and although there was a fan provided it just seemed to move warm air around, I think this property would benefit from air conditioning. The bedding was 100% polyester which attracted the heat and made sleeping very uncomfortable! It’s an annex inside the hosts back garden on a housing estate, this isn’t really advertised!
