There is also a television with access to all the streaming platforms, so you can log on and pick up your favourite shows easily. The dining area has a contemporary wooden table and chairs comfortably seating four, and French doors out to the rear decking and garden.

The separate kitchen is stylish, spacious and very well-equipped; with a Belfast sink, plenty of fridge and freezer space, modern range oven and gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster, plus all the utensils you'll need to whip up some sublime holiday cuisine.

The bathroom is sleek and decadent, with a grey tiled floor, full size luxury roll-top bath and separate double-size shower enclosure with a rainfall shower head. There is also a heated towel rail, close-coupled WC and basin with vanity unit underneath.

Outside, there is an excellent enclosed rear garden space which is part decking and part patio. There is a custom-built BBQ area for ideal relaxation on sunny evenings, and the added bonus of an outdoor hot water shower, perfect for rinsing off the sand and saltwater. There is also plenty of space to hang wetsuits, store surfboards or bikes and any other your beach equipment outside securely. Super apartment, very comfortable and in a good location.

location was amazing. Also the furnishings were all new and it was clean. The bath was such a nice touch. There was no full length mirror in the property, so that would have been a plus. Also if there are people above you it’s very loud with them walking around,if they have their washing machine on you can hear it quite clearly.

A home from home which had everything we needed. It was smart and spacious. High quality furnishings, decoration and appliances. Hosts very swift and helpful with their reply to a query at the end of our stay The markings on the oven and hob dials were faded so made it hard to operate. Shared entry with upstairs apartment became problematic on one occasion when other occupiers locked the shared front door and we couldn't access our appartment door. Also able to hear upstairs coming and going. Not at all the host's fault.

Good location 10 minutes from town. Good laundry facilities in flat. Comfortable beds. Recommend zoo, the "land train" which can be boarded round the corner, the immaculate boating lake and gardens. Red Lion pub is good for food and drinks. Nice little play park across the road from the apartment. Nice roll top bath and good shower in the bathroom. Front and rear of property in poor condition, covered in large weeds, and no table and chairs on front "patio" as noted in property details. Disappointed to find no microwave! Standard of cleanliness poor, rubbish under sofas and down side of beds, and quite dusty. Shower drain blocked, upon checking the drain trap, it was blocked with hair and soap scum, obviously not cleaned for some time. Having to clear out someone else's hair is not my idea of a "luxury" holiday home. No wardrobe in the bedroom to hang clothes. Windows filthy. Not enough plates or mugs (4 of each!) so had to do a wash after every meal. NO BLINDS except bathroom! Couldn't sleep after 5am due to sunlight streaming in rooms and lack of blinds (just flimsy curtains). CLEAR window on ground floor bathroom meant no privacy unless you shut the blind, needs a frosted window! Owners personal possessions in cupboards and drawers around the flat (kitchen full of food, clothes in bottom of wardrobe in second room, toothbrushes, possessions in bedside drawers etc) made us feel like we were staying in someone's home, this is such a big no-no. Bins not collected by council so had nowhere to put them on last day. Overall, a lot of money spent for a week in the summer, flat needs improving both in facilities and general maintenance, as well as outside of property being weeded and cleaned up. It does not give the impression of a "luxury" apartment as described and the amount paid did not reflect the experience we had.
