Large and clean, well equipped

The basement flat is noisy - the fridge makes a noise all night and you can hear footsteps and conversation from the flat above. If you book this property you will be inundated with e-mails from the management company which forces you to download their App in order to complete the booking. We had nearly 40 e-mails and texts from the management company! I would not book this apartment again because of that.

The location of this property is fantastic — close to everything we needed.

The WiFi was very unreliable, and there’s no cable TV — only a small collection of DVDs in a drawer. That wasn’t a huge deal for us, but worth noting if you plan to spend time indoors. The biggest issue, by far, was the noise from upstairs. This unit is located directly below another, and unfortunately, the sound insulation is basically nonexistent. We were woken up at 4am on our first night by the guests above us — we could hear every footstep, and it was impossible to fall back asleep. Same in the evenings. That really impacted our experience. If no one is staying upstairs, this place would be lovely. But if there are guests above, it’s honestly not worth the lack of sleep.
