THINGS TO NOTE:
- This home is equipped with a doorbell camera mounted on door of condo facing the entry for security purposes.
- When you book at Elmer’s Hideout you do NOT need a park entry/vehicle reservation!! Just provide your confirmed booking details at the park entry gates and pay the $35 per non-commercial entry fee. Park entry is valid for 7 days.
- This studio condo provides Starlink Internet and managed by the HOA and Grand Welcome has NO control over it. WiFI may be spotty and may go down as Yosemite is in a remote area.
- This property has on-site laundry facilities for guests. Communal Coin laundry is located in the “B” building. The machines only take quarters. Washer and dryer availability, functionality and maintenance are out of our control. We cannot service the machines.
- Lot parking available for one vehicle. Overflow parking for one additional vehicle may be available.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am.
- In the winter, the park HIGHLY recommends snow chains. Please have them on hand before you enter the park.
- Grand Welcome manages this unit within Yosemite West Condos, not the common areas or communal amenities. Communal amenities include, but are not limited to, coin operated laundry (washer and dryer), Wi-Fi and parking. If there are issues with communal amenities during your stay, please reach out to us. We will communicate directly with the condo HOA to attempt to expedite any repairs.
- This welcoming condo is deep in Yosemite and one step from nature and as such is subject to the natural occurrences of snow, rain, wind, falling pine needles and leaves, dust/dirt, animals and insects. As these issues persist long after we clean, there is a broom, and other necessary items to assist you in clearing the balcony.

Yosemite West is located within the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. It's a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a variety of activities and attractions.
For good reason, one of the most popular things to do in Yosemite West is to hike. There are a number of trails that lead into Yosemite National Park, so you can easily explore the park's many natural wonders. If you're looking for a more challenging hike, you can try the Mist Trail, which leads to Vernal and Nevada Falls. If you’re not into hiking, there are still plenty of other things to do such as fishing, biking, or swimming. You can also visit the Yosemite Museum, which has exhibits on the park's history and natural features. No matter what you're interested in, you're sure to find something to do in Yosemite West!

Close to Yosemite National Park which is awesome!

Elmer's Hideout in Yosemite was fantastic. It was recently renovated and was spotless. It felt like home. It had extra touches like welcome boxes for kitchen and bathroom needs. It also included kitchen extras such as spices, oil and great cooking pans and utensils. Another nice touch were books about the park and hiking. They also had board games to help pass the time. Because cell service is spotty in the park, the condo had connectivity through Starlink for the TV and phones. Being located in the park made it a quicker trip to the sites. Prior to our visit, when I asked a few questions, I received quick, friendly responses. I would highly recommend Elmer's Hideout through Grand Welcome!

Looks just like the pictures. It was about 30 min away from Yosemite Valley, but it was nice being able to go through the tunnel and experience the Tunnel View at different times of the day. Anytime we had a question, it was answered quickly.

The place was very clean and kitchen well stocked. A good location for proximity to the park. The bad thing was no tv because it was all streaming and internet did not work. You could not use WiFi on your phone either due to internet issue. Also no privacy. Your screen door viewed the parking lot. Everyone that walked by could look right into the room. You had to keep blind closed.
