Buller Noire - luxury New Plymouth oceanview home

Location was great. Easy walk in to town. Off-street parking with the two garages.

I hadn't received any communication the morning of our stay in regards to the access, so I emailed. Didn't get a response so arrived at check-in time, 3pm and still hadn't received any email or text. I ended up having to call to get the access code which was then messaged through to me. Was surprised to get a message a few days prior advising that the cleaning would be charged after the stay and needed to provide credit card details. When booking this, the price was advised and it said all fees/charges. Upon receiving the message i went back through to the booking and right at the bottom (you really need to scroll ALL the way down if booking on a phone) there is important information about the cleaning being charged in AUD - was very surprised to see this as I consider this a fee/charge so expected it to be included in the price. Had to suck that up but do feel it should be easier to see this additional charge when booking on a phone.

Everything, the view, location, comfort and style brilliant. The added bonus of the house having a Lift re over 3 floors.

Garaging was very good for 2 of our American cars

We were on the understanding there were 4 bedrooms not 3 and a couch as there were 7 people

The code was sent 2 mins before checkin time. Differing from the 15mins sms text stated in the booking note.

The wind was quite loud in the front two rooms
