Beach House On Hamblyn

The house was great for us as a family group attending a family occasion in the Fitzroy area. It’s very spacious and clean with plenty of beds. The living room, dining room and kitchen were all large, open plan and with everything needed. It’s retro but we enjoyed that. The communication throughout the booking process was very good.

Kitchen utensils & appliances quite outdated, abit of dust build up in bed rooms.

Great location. Easy to walk to the beach and boardwalk. Close to town and attractions.Roomy, comfortable house. Great linen and good beds. . Good views, well appointed kitchen. Great having 2 bathrooms.

The water tasted awful. Had to buy bottles of water. It didnt improve with running it. Black mould in one of the bottom bedrooms and on the ceiling in bottom shower. Both shower doors had gunk at the inside bottom. Shower caddy in top bathroom was dirty and rusty. Dirty cutlery in drawer and dirty pots in cupboard. Only 1 dishcloth, 1 rubbish bag and 1 hand towel per hand basin for a 2 week stay wasn't enough. I had to buy more.
