Lovely property and lovely location

The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of biscuits and wine! The space is adequate for a family of 5, and the kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering. Our kids enjoyed the on-site games room (note some machines require £1 coins), and there is a small shop and a very friendly local pub with good food. It's an easy place to relax at, tucked away from the road, with a nice view and the sound of the small stream downhill.
The shower had a very weak flow and lukewarm temperature, which was disappointing in December. We were also surprised to find no basic essentials provided, such as a dishwashing sponge, an extra bin bag, or more than a starting roll of toilet paper. While the house interior is well-kept, the exterior felt a bit tired and in need of some TLC.
We had a decent time, but it didn't feel like great value for money, particularly given the peak Christmas pricing. While it was a functional and relaxing stay, it's not one we would rush to book again.

Perfect for the family and professionals who want to have a break from work or day to day leaving in cities. Great spot being in the middle of the forest and nearby caw field (specifically when you run out of milk - you know where to get it 😉)
Very friendly and approachable staff who can help with any questions related to the property.
The property inside was very clean and well maintained with huge selection of the items if needed to make a dinner. Only one slightly suggestion to use high pressure equipment to keep the balcony deck and jacuzzi deck more in natural condition.
Also, very nice British sweets selection was left on the table on the arrival day - that was really 👍
And the final great thing were the comfortable beds (including duvets and amazing mattress) that really make a sleep feel like a home.
No bad comments or fault being found.

Great stay at 60 Valley Lodge.The lodge is beautifully decorated throughout. Very spacious and clean. We were greeted on arrival by some scones and extra bits left for us by the owner.Great location with a nice swimming pool on side. Location is great for visiting local attractions. Definitely would recommend the place to others.Thank you
