It is a very comfy, pretty cottage. With tasteful fittings. The owners had decorated it beautifully for Christmas too, which we appreciated. It was perfect for three couples staying.
It should be noted that ‘wood provided’ is a ‘starter pack’ of 4 logs and some fire lighters. Wood is available from the
Co-op. Had we known we would have brought some with us.
Also, if you are mobile impaired in any way, the steep narrow stairs would be a problem. But they are part of the charm of the cottage too.

Good location
The bedding was old, all mattresses were very old and dirty, fortunately we bought our own sheets as the quality of the linen and towels was disappointing.
The tvs barely worked, the upstairs tv in the roof didn’t work.
The couches needed a good scrub, they were filthy.
Cottage smelt so we had windows open all the time.
