Victoria Cottage

Great size house to stay in, three good sized bedrooms and two sitting rooms.

Everything was fine

The property location was excellent! 2 minute walk in to the town with plenty to do. 45 minute walk to diddly squat farm and a 30 min drive to the farmers puppy. The house itself is massive, probably too big for just the two of us. Basement with tv and sofa, main floor with full kitchen and sitting area. Then two further floors with bedrooms. Comfy beds, clean and tidy. Ideal little garden. Parking right outside the door (thanks to the neighbour for helping us with this and numerous other things including the dog walks) This is self catering so we knew to buy things such as washing up liquid, tea, coffee etc however Aldi is a 5 minute walk away. We had a brilliant time using this place as a base to visit things we wanted to see and catch up with family for the weekend - we will be back

Nothing to complain about at all Even the neighbour was lovely

It was clean and spacious

It took a while to figure out the heating so instructions would be useful. Washing dishes was difficult with no dishcloths, tea towels or dishwasher tablets so we had to buy these.

Attentive host. Central. Well appointed.7

Some of the decor was a little tired (eg cooker hood) and the bed in the back bedroom felt as if it was sloping a little.
