The hotel is in an exceptional location and fabulously designed for the communal rooms to take full advantage of the amazing views. The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast plentiful. We loved the top floor terrace and 12th floor relaxation area and were able to. borrow hotel bikes. The only downside was the size of the room. We had a family room. There was virtually no storage and with the bunks down there was very little room for anyone to move! Unfortunately most of the bedrooms are on the shore side of the building so the advertised view of the sea is only seen from a very few. I definitely wouldn’t book the family room again but I would go back when we could afford the cost of two rooms!!

Surprised that a 4 star hotel did not provide a kettle with tea/coffee nor a mini-fridge. There were welcome drinks and a couple of snacks on offer in the room. No towels in the bedroom on arrival, we had to go down to reception to ask. Heating not working in the room, reception provided an electric heater. Disappointed with the size of the family room and no seaview.
Positive points: 5 minute walk from the station, peaceful environment, very pleasant staff, slept really well, great view and massage from the 12th floor and wonderful breakfast included.
