Gullivers cottage review
Property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, great location for local shops and seafront ,and very well equipped kitchen
Only thing I would change would be the shower situation, current set up a little underwhelming

Lovely stay just slightly interrupted by erratic hot water.
Gulliver’s Cottage was comfortable, warm and very well equipped.
We had a problem with the hot water for the duration of our stay.

Enjoyed our stay in a comfortable house in a quiet location with well equipped kitchen & comfy beds
Self catering. Location quiet. Beds very comfortable although you have to crawl into the bunk beds as there is a wall both sides. Fun for children but a bit trickier for someone of my age (71). We were left 2 bottles of milk & a packet of biscuits which were much appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped & the house was clean.
We had to empty lots of towels & sheets from the airing cupboard in order to get to the boiler to switch it to on for the hot water as instructed. There were a pair of knickers left in the cupboard in the back bedroom which was not a pleasant find. It would have been nice in the summerhouse if it was not covered in cobwebs etc.

Overall, the house fulfilled what we required for a short stay.
The location was fine, close to the shops & within walking distance of the beach & seafront. The garden area was a real bonus given the good weather & the need of a 2 year old for outdoor play space. The kitchen is well equipped ( needs a pair of scissors please!) & the whole house felt welcoming & relatively comfortable for 3 adults & a child.
We felt the information about the property could do with some updating & more clarity, especially about the open sided staircase & the self locking front door ( I did lock us out by accident as had no previous dealings with such a locking mechanism! Luckily the host was superb at coming to the rescue!). The fold out bed was very necessary but needs a single quilt & there should be more detailed information about the double bunk arrangement as the top section has limited use due to access & head height issues. The smell from the rubbish containers at the side of the driveway was rather off putting but it is difficult to suggest an alternative given the dependency of collection days & the exceptionally hot weather at the time.

Cosy cottage with everything you need. We loved it
The cottage was close to the shops and within walking distance to Frinton beach, about a mile where we had a beach hut for the weekend. The road and area was quiet and the cottage was spacious with everything you need. Lovely outside area, which unfortunatly we did not use but there was a private garden with bbq area and summer house at the bottom. Cost was worth everything
I had older parents with me who felt the stairs were quite steep. They felt that there should be a banister to both sides of the stairs. As long as you take them slow, its fine. This is why I rated it 9 out of 10.

Lovely. Frinton is very friendly and this property had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay 😃
Had everything we needed - very well equipped.
It was a little dark. We had bright sun outside but had to put a light on inside. The positive was that it kept nice and cool in the heat outside.
