Mahmood is a friendly, english-speaking host with expert hiking advice. The room is spatious. Stunning 360-degree mountain view from the roof including Jebel Shams. The beds were squeaky and shower had low water pressure, but we could live with that. A good stay overall. Note: There is a very strong scent of frankincense throughout the building.

Great location to access the hike trails all around. Good proximity to a number of restaurants also. Room was large and airy. All facilities which were needed for a comfortable stay were there. Owner very friendly and socialable with own travel experience.
Price for entire room (5beds) was a little pricey and friend still paid for pen bed in the room. Didn’t realise at time.

The host was very friendly, we had a few nice conversations, and he even recommended a beautiful hike nearby. We also shared dinner together and talked about our cultures, which made the stay feel very personal. The property was clean, comfortable, and great value for low-cost travelers. Everything was perfectly fine.
