El personal de servicio, es gente súper cálida, el chico de Sevilla, muy servicial y muy dulce. La ubicación es extraordinaria, estar en frente de las ruinas del convento de San Francisco me impactó maravillosamente, llegamos a la
Madrugada y la caja de seguridad para obtener nuestras llaves funcionó perfecto.
Las escaleras son incómodas.

El lugar es Auténtico, con Carácter, Pintoresco, el personal y la dirección fueron muy amables, respetuosos, diligentes, te explican a donde ir que lugares visitar, conversan contigo lo más de chévere y tienen presente tus solicitudes. En el Gato Colonial te sientes en familia. Por otro lado Santo Domingo en su Zona Colonial es espectacular, hermoso, te sientes seguro hay un policía turístico casi cada 2 o 3 cuadras. Cuidando y guiando a los turistas, puedes andar tranquilo en sus calles a las 10 u 11 de la noche

I stayed at Gato Colonial with my daughter and we had a fantastic experience. Our room was great—very clean, nicely decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was essential during the hot days and nights. The shower had reliable hot water and everything functioned well.
All the facilities were spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the common areas near the bar and the terrace, perfect spots to relax, meet other guests, and enjoy the atmosphere.
A special mention goes to Juan Carlos, Pablo, and the rest of the team. They truly made us feel at home. They were incredibly helpful in organizing our tours and gave us excellent recommendations on what to do in Santo Domingo and the surrounding areas.
The location is also ideal,right in Zona Colonial, just a 5-minute walk from Parque Colón, close to restaurants, and near the starting points for most tours.
We felt completely at home during our stay and will definitely come back!
