Excellent location and easy walking distance to the Basilica of St Nicholas . Lots of good places to eat near by. Easy to get dropped off and collected by taxi .
A little bit quirky but many of these old houses are - and ou need some agility to get up and down the spiral staircase .

The location in Bari Vecchia was so lovely, walking to the home every night was gorgeous. It's very close to the old castle and to Basilica San Nicola. The house itself is very unique, a tall skinny home with 4 floors connected by spiral staircase. At the very top you have a rooftop with a nice view out to the port, to the sea, and across the other rooftops in the old neighborhood. The whole city is very walkable, we walked to the home from the central train station. And we booked a taxi through the recommended services from the host to return to the airport. The host was so kind and gave us a lot of recommendations.
Nothing really to complain about. The value for the stay was perfect, would definitely stay here again. Only caveat to be aware of is that if you're not very physically mobile, this place might be challenging with the spiral staircase up to the bedroom.
