The property was conveniently and centrally located, which was a definite plus.
However, there were a few significant downsides. As soon as we walked in, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, and ventilation was extremely poor. The only window that opened was very small and faced a noisy street, making it difficult to air the place out. The shower was another major issue: the water pressure was practically non-existent, and the water came out incredibly slowly. On top of that, the shower was very small, which would make washing particularly difficult for anyone with a larger build or long, thick hair
