Beautiful location

Wonderful location with a really accommodating host. We were running late due to bad traffic on the autobahn and were told not to worry. The room was huge, the wine was delicious, the view from the balcony was beautiful and breakfast in the sister hotel really was excellent. The next day we climbed up to the old ruined castle where there is a great viewing platform and cafe. You can get the little train if you prefer not to walk.

A lovely gem tucked away beneath the Drachenfel amongst the vineyards of the Rhine valley.

It was a charming place on a working vineyard in a beautiful setting of a small village tucked under the hills in the Rhine valley. The host was great and the bedroom was enormous and well equipped. The added bonus was a ready supply of their own excellent wine in the fridge.

Amazing stay right by the wineyard

The location is superb, the rooms are beautiful and the views to the wineyard are breath taking. The wine bar is open 14.30h to 18.30h and they offer Flammkuchen as well. The breakfast at a nearby hotel is super recommended.

If you buy a bottle of wine and drink it at the terrace they charge 10 euros extra for that, even if we were hotel guests, be aware.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Winzer! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt – sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und mit viel Herzblut bei der Sache. Die Verkostung war hervorragend, die Weine von großer Qualität und mit einer beeindruckenden Nachhaltigkeit im Gaumen. Ein Erlebnis, das wir nur weiterempfehlen können!

Schön übernachtet am Rhein.

Direkt unterm Drachenfels, sehr ruhig trotz viei befahrener Straße, Zimmer liegen in Richtung Weinberge, Patrick SUPER NETT!Felix haben wir nur kurz gesehen... Super Weine, Weinprobe mit viel Wissenswertem....gleich eingekauft, freuen uns suf die Lieferung und trinken dann auf die 2!!! Tipp: Weinhaus am Domstein - die 3 dort muss man einfach erlebt haben, Originale!!!

Ein bisschen mehr am Ambiente tun, Außenbereich und auch in den Zimmern....die Vinothek ist schon mal sehr schön gemacht. Hier kann man sicher toll feiern!

Top top top - Wunderschön gelegen, Zimmer super ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht, sehr sauber. Sehr leckere und gut gekühlt Weine im Kühlschrank im Flur. Der Inhaber hat uns sehr herzlichen Empfang genommen, wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt.

Einfach großartig!

Herr Pieper ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, der möglichst alles ermöglicht. Die Lage an seinem eigenen Weinberg ist phänomenal, der Wein ist köstlich, morgens wird man von der Sonne geküsst, was will man mehr, so muss Urlaub sein!

Danke für einen wundervollen Kurztrip, mit italienischen Flair.

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Felix und Patrick waren sehr nett und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Die Juniorsuite ist groß, sauber und modern eingerichtet, mit einem einzigartigen Blick auf die Weinberge und den Siegfriedfelsen. Auch der Wein ist grossartig. Die Innenstadt und der Bahnhof sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen und vom Drachenfels sind wir einen abenteuerlichen Weg innerhalb einer halben Stunde zum Weingut runter gewandert. Nach oben empfehlen wir eine Fahrt mit der Drachenfeldbahn ab Königswinter. Es war toll und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ik wil een wijnproeverij

Junior suite geboekt en die heb mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. De suite is meer een groot appartement, met gedeeld balkon, splinternieuw en modern. Heerlijk om een paar dagen tot rust te komen. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam, en de receptie bevind zich in de wijn verkoophal. De B&B bevind zich onder de Drachenfels welke net te zien is vanuit de suite. Hier kan je relatief makkelijk naar toe wandelen (steile weg) en 300m boven het dorp het uitzicht bewonderen en tegelijk wat eten en drinken.

Verbeterpunten: Een gordijn in de badkamer (en hal). Nu ben je naakt te bewonderen door de huizen aan de andere kant. Ook de douche is te laag (max 1.70m) en de waterdruk te laag. Langere dekbedden. De bedden zijn met 2m prima maar er liggen nu kinderdekbedjes op het bed waardoor je voeten koud moeten overnachten.
