Cosy stay for new year firework

Cosy family hotel, in the town center, easy parking, close to Rhine river where I enjoyed watching new year fireworks. Also near the highway exit.

Excellent Breakfast, Plenty of Choice. Lovely old German Town with character. Quite near to motorway.

There is no on site parking. No parking in the town square because of a music festival, and we were not informed of this prior to arrival. Parking in a side street was not ideal. Plastic mattress protector was awful, makes one sweat. Duvets too thick for Summer use, a lighter one would be good.. Would be helpful if breakfast was at 7.30 am instead of 8am. Water was not hot enough to shower at 6.30am A complementary drink of tea or coffee on arrival should be available ,as there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Nearly all UK Hotels and B&B's supply this.

There may be hundreds of these hotels in Germany. What makes this one very nice and highly recommendable is the friendly and helpful staff from owners to the last person working in the adjacent restaurant. The restaurant is also highly recommendable with fabulous staff and tasty meals!

The rooms was very quiet, yet the insulation between rooms can be better. Admittedly I have very 'fragile' ears!

It was easy to find, and there was parking in the public car park opposite. The room was bright and clean and the bathroom was large. We ate at the hotel's Italian restaurant, which was convenient and good value. The breakfast was superb.

Amazing Breakfast, Misleading & old facilities

The breakfast was exceptionally good, the variety and quality of the options was impressive! The village of Rhöndorf is lovely, the hiking trails and nature was very close. The staff was helpful.

The arrival was quite unpleasant as the pictures posted online are very misleading. My room was not in the building shown on the pictures and the signage which led me to my place of stay was not clear. I had to carry all my heavy bags back and forth until I finally found a very small sign next to a restaurant which told me the actual address I needed to go to. For the price that I paid I was disappointed with the facilities as well; the building and the room was old and in need of a face lift, and comfort was less than ideal because of the lack of Air Conditioning in the rooms.. this led to nights of poor sleep because leaving the door open woke me up at early hours due to the loud church bells and closing the door made it really stuffy and hot in the room. It was frustrating not being able to get proper rest after spending my days hiking in the beautiful mountains (hills) nearby.

Ein sehr herzlicher Empfang, es gibt alles was man braucht, das Frühstück war ausgewogen und sehr lecker. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und willkommen. Das Restaurant macht übrigens die besten Pizzen im Umkreis!

Het naastgelegen restaurant dat enkel vanaf 18.00 u. open was.

Hallo ... hotel??? Ik heb het gehad met wat aangeboden wordt als hotel waarbij je een permanent bemande receptie en bijhorende faciliteiten verwacht: niét dus bij dit verblijf. Aanmelden en 'verwelkoming': een knop naast de deur die je verwijst naar een kastje waar je zelf de sleutel moet ophalen en verder je plan trekken. Kamer op 3e verdieping: via smalle trap bereikbaar en geen lift. Bagage: zelf zeulen en vind jouw kamer zelf. Internet: ... wàt? ... internet? Quasi geen signaal dus vergeet het maar. Er is werk voor Booking die dit adresje eens grondig moet checken om de echte situatie ter plekke te zien en lessen te trekken. Ik heb het gehad met wijnboeren die bijklussen als 'hotelier' maar niet weten hoe de hotelbranche écht gerund wordt. De bezoeker is de klus ... jammer, jammer, jammer!

Gutes Stadthotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt und wenig Gepäck 🧳

Das Hotel Weinhoff lag Gott sei Dank im Ruhigen Teil von Bad Honnef:-) sehr schön im Norden. Nicht weit von der Stadtbahn entfernt (2 Stationen zum Drachenfels) und urig zwischen Fachwerkhäusern. Vom Drachenfels kann man gut nach Rhöndorf spazieren. Ein kurzer Weg zum Café Profittlich, zum Adenauer Haus, zum Böllchen und zum Haus im Turm.

Die Unterkunft macht Werbung für hoteleigene Parkplätze. Diese sind NICHT vorhanden und er vorhandene Parkplatz in der Straße war voll gesperrt, wegen dem Aufbau für das Weinfest. Also einmal eine Parklücke ergattert, sollte man sie nicht wieder verlassen. Das Ein-und Ausladen hat sich dadurch mehr als schlecht gestaltet. Zudem war unsere Zimmer in Treppenhaus Nr. 2 - Zimmer Dachsberg 1 OG - nur über eine Treppe erreichbar. Ich schleppte also meine Koffer hoch & die nächsten Tage half ich alten Leuten dabei die Treppe hoch zukommen und deren Gepäck zu schleppen. Ich wollte in der Unterkunft zwischendurch arbeiten, ABER trotz Wlan Schlüssel kam nicht das geringste an WLan in meinem Zimmer an, auch so war der Empfang vom Handy mehr als schlecht. In unserem Zimmer hing der TV so weit oben, dass man nur im Liegen gucken kann ODER man bekam Genickstarre. Das Frühstück war überschaubar, aber ausreichend. Leider war das Rührei jeden Morgen schon kalt in der Pfanne und auf Nachfrage, ob ich bitte ein Spiegelei bekommen könnte, kam ein Nein. 👎 Für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, da es auch eine Gaststätte mit Küchenbetrieb gab. Hier sollte man VOR Anreise den Tisch reservieren, für die Hotelgäste gibt es sonst am Anreisetag leider keinen Tisch.

Sehr schönes kleines inhabergeführtes Hotel, tolles Frühstück

Sehr schönes inhabergeführtes kleines Hotel im Ortskern von Bad Honnef-Rhöndorf, direkt am Dorfplatz gelegen. Dazu gehört ein italienisches Restaurant, in dem auch das Frühstücksbuffet stattfand, welches wirklich sensationell gut war. An den Gastraum des Restaurants/Frühstückraum schließt sich eine schöne Terrasse und eine wunderschöner Garten an. Hier kann man wirklich superlecker und schön draußen frühstücken. Individuell, keine Massenabfertigung, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Zum Parken musste man ein bisschen suchen, dass man irgendwo einen freien Platz an der Straße findet, aber letztendlich haben wir ja dann doch immer einen gefunden. Also alles gut :-)

Nettes und gut gelegenes kleineres Hotel für Individualisten.

Reichhaltiges abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Über den üblichen Serivice hinaus durften wir im Frühstücksraum Geburtstag feiern und den Raum bzw. die Terrasse länger als zur Frühstückszeit nutzen. Sehr freundlich und und weit über das Übliche zuvorkommend.

Leider gab es kein Zusatzbett für KInder, obwohl das bei der Zimmerreservierung für einen Aufpreis von 40 Euro angeboten wurde.

Nettes Hotel mit Parkplatz vor der Tür. Sehr nette Besitzer. Das Zimmer war überschaubar klein, aber ich war den ganzen Tag unterwegs. Es war ja auch nur für eine Nacht. Kaffee konnte man im Eingangsbereich bekommen. Dort stand eine Padmaschine. So konnte ich als Frühaufsteher schon vor dem Frühstück einen Kaffee trinken. Das Hotel eigene Restaurant ist ein Traum. So schön eingerichtet und so leckeres Essen. Da braucht man nirgendwo anders hin. Schöne Wanderwege beginnen direkt vor dem Haus. Auch zum Rhein ist es nicht weit. Hier kann man direkt zum Rheinufer runter gehen. Dorthin wo die Muscheln liegen und die Schwäne schwimmen.

Die Zimmer sind nur über Treppen erreichbar und ich hatte einen riesigen Koffer dabei. Das war schon schwierig. Die Aussicht aus meinem Zimmer war jetzt nicht so schön. Auf ein weißes Welldach unter dem die Getränke gelagert wurden. Aber ich hatte den ganzen Tag genug erlebt und will ja nicht aus dem Fenster starren.

Eine perfekte, kleine Auszeit

Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen, das Personal war überaus freundlich, das Zimmer hatte super bequeme Betten, es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das hauseigene Restaurant war absolut spitze. Es ist gemütlich, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und es hat super geschmeckt. Wir waren einen Tag in Bonn, und auch die Wanderung/Fahrt mit der Zahnradbahn auf den Drachenfels ist zu empfehlen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!
