3-day stay in Lugano

Comfortable apartment very close to the centre and public transport

Very busy & noisy road. There were no curtains to give some privacy from buildings opposite. Instructions for the cooker didn’t match the model of cooker in the kitchen

If you forgot your keys in the apartment then were asking for 200 CHF which sounded absurd as they asked me to pay for it,but later it was sorted out & they did not charged it.

This apartment could be much better in more caring hands

1. The apartment is very spacious. 2. The greeting bottle of wine. 3. New kit of dish sponge and washing gel. 4. Good bathroom with a perfect shower.

1. There was no instruction for wi-fi connection; it took time to receive them from the host. 2. The iron was absolutely unusable, with the durty soleplate which marked my white shirt. I asked to replace it, but they ignored my request. 3. No ironing board. I asked about it and they replied they would check, but didnt return with further information. 4. The AC in the bedroom was berely cooling (seems it needs check up and service). 5. The bed was absolutely uncomfortable; the mattress was too soft and the pillows were impossibly thin, just like the pieces of the blanket. 6. No detergent for washing machine. 7. Frying pan in a bad condition.

Despite being clean and very well located this is a sad apartment.

Having chosen this flat for the air conditioning I was disappointed to discover the AC in bedroom was not working properly. Called agency to no avail, left message still no response. Not satisfactory. Also the flat is looking rundown (cracked mirror, damaged surface) and was never attentively decorated (f.i. No socket nearby to plug desk lamp into). Shame.

The other reviews were right. On Saturday, the bar downstairs goes crazy. The floor of the apartment was shaking, I am not exaggerating, until 2-3am.

Lugano is absolutely lovely and this apartment is well located and has all the amenities you need to enjoy a stay.

Very clean and well equiped.

The furnishings are Ikea. Everything is very new and functioning well but is typical Ikea quality. We had trouble opening the sofa bed. Also, the Wi-Fi cut in and out frequently.

Apartment with great conditions but noisy

It is a one bed room, but kitchen is separated with living room which has a queen sofa bed, make it feel like a two bed room. The condition of the apat is very good. They have a small elevator.

It is located at the city center, very convenient, but if you open the window, it is very noisy. It is not a good candidate for summer (too hot to close window during the night). We stayed on Sunday and Monday night, so the downstairs Suger bar closed during the night, we did not experience other people’s reports the noise from bar. The facility could score ‘9’, if they can improve the following (1) the shower cube has no place to put shampoo and soap, (2) they do not provide pepper, neither laundry detergent, (3) they ask you to dump garbage where is 3 blocks away.

Great apartment- central locations and has everything you need

Location is perfect- close to the centre of town and the conference centre. Great apartment with everything you need. Very clean. Lovely touch with the bottle of Preseco

No air conditioning- but there was a pedestal fan in the bedroom. Very very noisy if having the windows open. Was hard to find the keys initially as instructions not entirely clear where the rear lane was

To be avoided if you like to sleep in the night

- The apartment is well equipped - Located near the centre of Lugano

- Very loud music can be heard from the bar underneath until 1-2 am (so loud that even good earplugs are useless) - Traffic noise (buses etc.) as the windows are poorly insulated - The bathroom smells strongly like mold

extremely loud due to nightclub right under apartment. if you lke your sleep find something else.

Location was great and very close to everything. Apartment was clean and modern.

Apartment is above nightclub and it was extremely loud. and even once the music stops, you can hear every chair and table that is being moved when the nightclub starts to clean up... we did not sleep until 4am...

Apartment was comfy and clean and really big which was lovely. The location was great, 5 min from centre of town. I use a wheelchair but am an able user, so it means I can get in and out. The property is large enough for a active wheelchair but there are steps in to the building so not fully accessible (but the apartment is not trying to be. If you are like me, and have someone who can lift your wheelchair up and down a few stairs then it is still a good place to stay. Also the agent offered to help me in any way with my baggage and wheelchair which was really nice and appreciated.

We sometimes like to stay in on an evening as I get very tired after a long day out seeing places, which is why I always book an apartment. The kitchen could've had more supplies to cook with, there were pots and pans and cutlery and the absolute basics (because no one is going to cook a gourmet meal - well, we have once in an AirBnb!). I have found though in Switzerland it tends to be this way, whereas in other countries they are better stocked with kitchen equipment and leave salt, pepper, olive oil and extras to help you out but in Swizerland it seems they provide salt and sugar, that is it. So this is not a bad review, just stating a fact which may help others.

Too bad. Location was nice and staff was friendly. Needs great improvement on the technical side.

On our last night, technicians turned the heaters too low (i presume using a central control, out of in-apartment reachable controls), and we got too cold and subsequently sick. Also, I believe the air inside the apartment was too dry due to the heaters drying the air (they are hot water closed circuit whole-building systems, like, for reference, old systems used in New York). Typically in that region of Europe people add some small water tanks to the heater exchange units to let the water evaporate so as to keep a proper humidity level inside the apartment. Laking that humidity, the air gets too dry and unhealthy.
