Great value lovely apartment

Perfect location aesthetically and practically. Very comfortable beds. Problem with heating was resolved very quickly. Very nice hosts.

Could have done with extra lighting in living room, but just personal taste. Curtains in living room didn't function properly. A better quality kettle, bigger bin would have been nice.

Avondale stay

Apartment is great, was clean and comfy,well equipped and it was peaceful as well. Plenty of free parking and a lift in the building Hosts are lovely,only spoke over the phone but really friendly and helpful. Advertised photos met what we found and genuine Great location close to the beach and town centre just a short walk away. Loads of places to eat,drink and have fun. Lots of quiet green spaces as well. Great for all ages. We will be back again

No real negatives to be honest. Only slight grumbles the android TV is a bit of a faff and did freeze a few times but to be honest only had it in on the odd hour or so. Master bed wasn't to our comfort liking(was to low and soft), but the other bed was super comfy so all good

The lift was a massive plus my wife has walking issues . Easily accessible..

The only thing we struggled with was the 2 seater couch it was difficult to sit for a period of time due to my wife’s issues but there were plenty alternatives for her in the flat .

Little things such as tea, milk, biscuits, shower gel, soap, washing up liquid were all very handy thank you. Modern apartment within walking distance of everything we wanted! Communication from Helen was excellent!

The bed in the main bedroom seemed quite short, but was fine for the night as im of average height! Toilet base and en suite shower could have done with a better clean but I made Helen aware of this and I understand the cleaner may have been in a hurry. Hasn't put me off booking again!

Comfortable but not great

The apartment was warm with good off street parking in a great location. It was nice having two bathrooms and the beds were comfortable with good quality bedding and we appreciated the TV with Netflix.

This apartment could be amazing but overall it was disappointing mainly due to it not being clean. The kitchen was a mish mash of crockery and utensils which needed washing before we could use them plus the kitchen drawers were broken and did not fit properly. Both the oven and the fridge had clearly not been cleaned in a while and and the freezer needed defrosting. In the bathroom the bath took ages to drain and there was a hole in the side of the bath. The containers for the shampoo, body wash etc were all empty. The airer for drying washing was broken so there was nowhere to dry the washing other than over the dining room chairs!

Great location. Comfortably furbished. Lots of extras provided such as milk and toiletries. Beds comfy. Modern decor throughout. Netflix available.

We would have preferred a blind in the kitchen window. The ensuite bathroom was very small, usable but tiny. The communal foyer and corridor were very smoky and dated. The lift was very slow, but it did work.

Amazing apartment.

The apartment is fantastic. 2 bedrooms, one being ensuite. The kitchen has everything you could need, including a washing machine. There is a lovely living/dining room. The hosts answered any queries very quickly. They very kindly left lots of thoughtful extras, tea, coffee, milk and toiletries. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The beds are so comfy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The beach, Marine Lake and the famous Lord Street are a short walk away.

A lovely stay

Great location with parking. The apartment was lovely. It was very clean and fresh with plenty of space and everything you need. Helen was fab with communication and even put some banners up and left a cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday which was a lovely touch. Always had little extras such as milk and biscuits, tea & coffee and some toiletries which was a lovely touch and made us feel so welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Recommended to stay

The apartment had everything we needed. There was enough space in all the rooms for the four of us. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of hot water for baths, showers and washing up. Their was milk, tea, coffee, ect, biscuits and a welcome note. With WiFi details to. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend, and would be happy to stay again.

Location, cleanliness overall & complimentary pinot.

Both Showers were hopeless, main one ran freezing cold part way through and shower tray not nice. Fridge freezer looked a bit tired and grubby. Outside building at front and in porch looks tired and a bit shabby.

Great location and good value for money.

The location is excellent for walking to all town centre and sea front attractions and there’s off street parking. Nice and quiet especially if sleeping in the main bedroom. The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated, especially in bedrooms. Great having an en-suite and another bathroom . The TV, WiFi and hairdryer were good. Plenty of plug sockets and extension cables . Hosts communicated very well and were extremely quick and helpful in responding to queries. The kitchen seemed well equipped but we didn’t cook in it. Overall good value for money , would stay again.

Standard of cleaning could be improved especially in kitchen, eg cleanliness of drawers , cupboards, fridge , washing machine and microwave was not up to standard for an apartment described as “ superb”. The kitchen units are old and could do with upgrading. The en-suite shower base needs replacing - grubby looking and cracked sealant. I couldn’t lower the shower head on the bracket . The sink plug isn’t watertight. Bedroom radiator needs repainting. Need hooks on back of a doors for towels , coats etc . The shower head in main bathroom flops down and has to be hand held. Sink had no plug . Central heating was not at comfortable temperature. Owner did come very quickly to attempt to rectify. Glass panel over door of smaller bedroom needs blocking out so that light from the corridor doesn’t disturb sleep. Entrance to the building is a bit shabby and the lift needs a good clean.

Property was in a great location and close to all amenities it had everything we needed and was quiet and relaxing

Single shower was difficult to use so used the one in bathroom with bath could do with an attachment better on wall as had to hold the shower to use but otherwise was all ok . Mattress on small bed was uncomfortable son thinks the springs have gone in it , other than that it’s was all fine a tight squeeze for larger cars getting into car park at front

Apartment was very good and comfortable 2 bed 2 bathroom .. super clean ! Christian stayed in touch the whole time. Thank you ;) and kindly gave us details of a nice curry house which we didn’t end up using as the fish and chips won the vote. The lift is great !

The main bathroom with bath needs a little attention as the shower head does not face up so not very good for shower. Water was only Luke warm even after filling the bath (en suite bathroom was not in use at this time) En-suite shower is electrical so can have hot shower. Also the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway coming from the adjacent apartment is coming into the apartment at times which is unfortunate.

Excellent location. very comfy main bed. The apartment was very clean and there were quite a few "little extras", tea, coffee etc.. A reasonable size for the three of us with an adequate second room. On site free parking was much appreciated.

Nice property very near to Southport Pier so good for visits to town, clean and tidy

Fridge needs replacing as we noticed some of the items we put in fridge starting to freeze. Also lack of hooks on bathroom doors these would be so handy to hang bath towels rather than putting on radiator or floor.
