Cavalleggeri Rooms Opposite St Peters Basilica

Hi to everyone. I had the honor and pleasure to be a guest of a Cavaliergi guest house/ opposite the basilica Sn.Pietro/ Vaticana city. Pure pleasure,since I arrived and found the room. Perfect and clear instructions on how to get there and how to get in the room. I have them for 2,3 days before my trip , so I pay attention to every detail (English is not my native language). Location/ bus stops just Infront of the house/St. Pietro Basilika is in your yard-just need to close the street. Vaticana museum 20 mins walking distance from st.pietro Basilica., castle d'Angelo - beautiful turistic spot. Macdonald's (2) in Vaticana city with cheap prices - my coffee was only! 1.10 euros. The room: perfetc bed / balcony/ bathroom with nice shower . The room facing the back yard of the building what even was perfect , quite and perfect place to sleep and rest after long walks. The room has everything for a perfect and comfortable stay. Plenty of shops and restaurants to eat . Coffee machine/ a kettle) forks / spuns..... It would be fine if there were some bowls though. A, almost forgot : in the bathroom you have even a iron for hair ! Along with a hairdryer. So, in all togheter I was so happy to stay in this room.

Accommodation was handy for access to the Vatican Museum which was our main purpose for being in Rome. The size of the room was excellent and the bed was huge and super comfy. Bed linen top quality as were the bathroom towels. Good selection of crockery and cutlery and a microwave oven. Huge TV which took our Netflix codes and password

Check in was chaotic, the owners didn't appear to be expecting us and our room was not ready. Finally got into our room at Six o'clock in the afternoon. Toilet bowl needs a good scaling which although clean resembled the inside of an old Tea pot. Room would benefit from a small fridge.

I like the location, it was very close to vatican, taxi stand, local transportation, restaurants and some attractions

I was traveling with me and a 5 year old with 20kg luggage, a hand carry luggage and a stroller. The room was located in the third floor with no escalator only stairs so it was uncomfortable..

Perfect location, nice neighborhood and very clean

Had problems connecting to Wi-Fi one of the mini-splits did not worked at all TV controls had worn batteries coffee maker did not worked
