Casas da Tapada

The location was wonderful. You definitely expect hills in Lisbon but its distance from city center and adjoining landmarks was easily reachable. Additionally our 4 person family stay was very comfortable. Everyone had enough room to relax and not feel on top of each other. We even had a chance to take advantage of the dining area for family breakfast and dinner. And the living room for wine downs after a long day of adventure. Additionally Maria was very kind, helpful and reachable. We are also very tall people and the shower was sizeable for each of us without struggling to get in and out comfortably like other apartments we've stayed in. Also each room has A/C for the hot Summer months so we were more than comfortable and adhered to instructions to not operate during the day. The positioning of the apartment made it nice and cool with natural air from the balcony especially in the morning.

There honestly weren't any big issues. The blinds in the living area were a bit troublesome for leaving my elderly mother alone but Maria did her best to rectify the situation with consideration to the busy holiday season. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

The apartment is beautifully furnished. The beds are very comfortable. We had a great stay at Casas da Tapada. Maria was a very attentive host.

A large and spacious flat. Very well-equipped. Quiet. There are lemon trees growing in the courtyard.

The flat is a long way from the city centre. You don’t get a sense of the city’s atmosphere. THERE IS NO SUCH METRO STATION AS ESTRELA.

Maria is a responsive and nice host. We had a complicated invoice request and she helped us with it. Apartment is nice and looks like it is shown in the pictures.

We stayed there as a family with a crawling baby. We had specifically asked for a baby cot long before our arrival. When we entered the flat, the cot was in the living room, folded up inside a small package. They told us to assemble the cot ourselves. No sheets or bedding had been left for it. But when I asked for help to assemble it, they did it and also brought the bedsheets etc... The apartment was not very clean for a baby constantly crawling on the floor, but ok otherwise. The flat is located on a hill and not easy to reach the public transport if you are using a stroller or if you cannot climb steep hills.
