LINDE2

This is a big house that has 2 parts, living quarters and play area. In the former there are living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms on ground floor. 4 bedrooms on the first floor. One of the bedrooms connects to the 'play area' which is a large 'stable' with a big table, chairs, ping-pong table, table football and then with stairs connects to a lower part which is like a big 'sand box' where children can play. This sand box area is also accessible from outside. It is great to spend time if outside is rainy. The house is decorated fine, it is clean and has a wonderfully equipped kitchen. One of the bedrooms is old and one newer, both comfortable with heater. The house is located in a very small village with no shops (everything with 10 min driving distance) and very quiet. One can just start a walk from the house.

Towels and bed sheets are not included, you have to bring them. This was not clear from the website when i booked but the owner has send a message with that info. Regardless i always found it annoying to haul these things. a few smaller things, more nitpicking honestly: - There is no heater in the 'play area'. We were there during Easter and it was quite chilly. - It could be cleaner! I have been to many 'country / farm houses' and surely, animals come and go as the 'play area' is open (and you hear them at night sometime) but I did not expect to see a few dried animal droppings in play area here and there on the checking day. Beside that, i had to clean the table top and sink in one of the bathrooms myself.

Wij hebben een heerlijk weekendje weg gehad op een mooie boerderij, gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Voor de kinderen was er volop speelplezier, wat het verblijf extra fijn maakte. De gastheer en gastvrouw waren erg vriendelijk, kwamen even langs en ook het mailverkeer verliep prettig en vlot.

Wij hebben met 8 vrienden 4 dagen gefietst vanuit Linde2. Een zeer ruim huis verfraaid met kunst. Het huis is oud en goed onderhouden. De inrichting is praktisch.

De deurposten zijn laag en ik heb één keer mijn hoofd gestoten. Ik ben 2,02 meter.

Love the house. So much character, lovely and clean and has everything you could need.
