Great accommodation and setting but, no good for general fishing.

Accommodation and setting was excellent. Hot tub was fabulous and luckily for us the weather was warm and sunny.

The only disappointment was the fishing. It was a huge lake but, was full of weed. I'm an experienced fisherman but, I would suggest fishing here was only suitable for trying to catch specimen carp.

Lovely setting, lovely place, beautiful view.

The property is very well laid out, king size bed in the main bedroom was fab! Everything worked well. The shortbread was lovely and very welcoming after a long morning. Communication was very good.

The only thing we would say is maybe about having a light on the decking. We were really lucky with the weather and could sit outside most of the time but a light would have been good. Also, not your responsibility we know, but the weed in the lake could do with raking 😃

I rested but I wasn't very happy with the fishing

The lake is very overgrown and poorly maintained, making it difficult to catch anything; you have to be lucky with the fish. I recommend cleaning the lake.

Lovely location but ant infestation put a downer on our stay

Location is great, beautiful setting by the lake. Garden area is lovely. Convenient parking. Easy check in with lockbox. Clean. Comfy beds. Kitchen nicely stocked with pans, plates etc. Big fridge-freezer. Nice barbeque in garden.

BIG problem with ant infestation our whole stay, was pretty disgusting at times having to regularly clear ants off our babies toys or the dining table (or basically everywhere living room/kitchen). Owner did send pest control at the end of our stay and the day we left there wasnt as many of them, but was too late by then for us and the ant infestation negatively impacted our whole stay. (EDIT: message conversation posted by owner in response below was sent by myself day 1 of our holiday, ants quickly got worse as the week went on and host was notified. Had had enough by midway through and pest control was sent 2 days later, 24 hours before we left. Issue was not due to cakes left out, they were in a sealed box and was just 1 of many examples. Ants were crawling all over babies toys, over the dining table etc, none of which ever had any food left on. Oven was broken, owner did sent maintenance man to fix it half way through our stay (thanks). But still frustrating to have no oven the first few days when we had brought food with us expecting to be able to oven cook it. Several very little niggles. Double bedroom has no black out curtain so room gets very light from 5am. Hot tub is set to max at 38 degrees instead of the regular 40, so hot tub not as hot as we’re used to. Clicker lid on bin doesnt work. Umbrella in garden table broken. Shower door doesnt close completely in bathroom. Note no towels are included which we thought was a bit odd, and no guest pass is included, so you cant go to any of the tattershall experiences (bar, restaurant, pool, arcade, golf etc). Need to pay host £80 extra if you want a pass to do these things. Didn’t realise when booking but the no guest pass was in the small print.

Great stay would definitely go back

Very easy to use the key safe, code was sent before arrival with instructions. Caravan was lovely spacious and clean. Hot tub was brill and the fishing was great even though we didn’t manage to catch anything big. Kids loved it

Unfit for purpose

Wasn't advertised as sold...many rules and extra charges came in messages after booking and paying, which meant it wasn't fit for purpose... so we didn't go. My attempts at a refund were ignored even though there was more than a month's notice and the accommodation providers have been more than unhelpful in providing a resolution of £584

Loved the location overlooking the fishing lake (why I picked it) really beautiful and peaceful. Hot tub was great, especially for my grandchildren. The 2 bedrooms were fine, living room had plenty of space for the 3 of us, kitchen had everything needed to prepare basic meals - even had a slow cooker! Facilities on the site were good with 2 swimming pools and live entertainment. Air displays by the local RAF Typhoon jets quite amazing, as well as the Spitfire and Lancaster bomber! The owner kindly brought round an internet booster after a couple of days with no smart TV in the evenings

I would not call this property 'Luxury'. It is a bit old and tired, the carpet is frayed badly across a broken plastic runner where it meets the kitchen floor. The microwave is best part dead, making horrid noises we often thought it would blow up. The fridge froze allot of our food which we did not realise initially. Could not use shower in the double bedroom as the hot water could not be regulated. Internet is very up and down but that is not the owners fault, just a note to those still working from a laptop. The amount of swan/duck poo on the steps and fishing platform could have been attempted rather than me having to clean it all, I appreciate the location but this was quite allot over a period of time!
