Hôtel Life Bordeaux Gare - BG

It’s great for a stop over. Simple and had what I needed. The staff if terrific and the breakfast is very good. Lots of variety and good coffee.

The shower smelled a bit musty.

Very helpful member of staff at check-in, gave me great advice about which areas of the city are nice to walk around to see the sights. He also gave me some useful restaurant tips. Breakfast was nice. Pleasant reception area. Good temperature control in the room on a very hot afternoon. Excellently located for the Gare St Jean & also near a tram stop for easy access to the city & airport.

Although very well laid out, the room was quite small.

The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly. The parking is super convenient for those travelling by car

The room is pretty snug!

Good location near the train station. INFO for other travellers-the tram line that runs down the street in front of the hotel is not running due to works in the centre. There are buses C in place one street up Bed comfortable, air con good as was the shower. Staff very friendly. Receptionist apologied when she asked if all was well and I mentioned how disapointed for the size of the room

Room was cramped. Could not be for 2 people altho it was classed a double. 3 sides of the bed had little or no space. The shower and large sink was in the room. Where the plugs were placed were very awkward to access. I am aware it you see this in a lot of hotels now but I really dislike the open shelves and hanging rail for clothes instead of a wardrobe. Altho in this room there wuld not be the room. I had to change my plans and leave a day earlier than planned. Was disappointed that I could not be refunded the day's cost especially as I gave them 7 days notice altho they did give me 2 free breakfasts.
