This is a small hotel, right next the Bordeaux St Jean Railroad station (you literally just have to cross the street). The rooms are small, but comfortable, and you can get a decent breakfast. Staff was very friendly. The rooms heave air conditioning, which is very important these days. Bordeaux in the summer is hot.
The hotel is located in a relatively old building over a bar. As a result, it's rather noisy, and lacks an elevator. The latter would be a problem if you have a heavy suitcase.

For me, the main highlights were the air conditioner in the room, as outside temperatures were very high, and the excellent breakfast buffet.
Would have been nice to have a small fridge and a safe.
