It's a pity that the host didn't prepare for the guests' arrival

Excellent location, attractive location of the apartment in the attic of the tenement house, exposed structural elements of the roof added atmosphere to the interiors

1. Information before arrival was insufficient: I had to call to find out that the key box was attached to a gutter on a different wall. There were also no instructions on which streets to take (traffic is one-way). 2. The stove didn't work, the plugs had to be turned off and on. The host should make sure that the appliances are working before the guests arrive. 3. On the first evening of the day, the water in the flush tank ran out and we had to flush it with a pot; it was fixed the next day. 4. The sink was clogged. It was not repaired immediately, and after pushing it with a plunger, water spilled out onto the floor. The sink was repaired on the fourth day. This is sad because previous tourists had already complained about a clogged sink and it could have been fixed then. 5. The couch in the living room, on which I slept during my stay, was stained and dirty, which is surprising since it has a removable cover and the property has a washing machine. However, washing the couch is something that the host, not guest, should do.

Beautiful apartment in great location with terrible shower!

Beautiful and comfortable (except for the shower) apartment in a great location, very very close to the historic center which we enjoyed very much. The decoration is cosy indeed, the kitchen is well equipped except for the pans that are too old and scratched.

We couldn’t take a single proper shower. The shower hose was too short to reach the wall connection that keeps it locked up. So we had to hold the shower with our hands. The outside of the building was dirty and smelled like piss, this didn’t really impact on our experience as the shower issue but it was still a bit disgusting.

Perfect location, especially with a car, to visit sites and shopping of Old Town Rouen.

Great location for access to Old town with the bonus of free parking. Nice view to city from main living space. Quirky split level accommodation. Very well equipped for self catering if required but very close to many different varieties of restaurants, cafes and bars. Very quiet during our stay.

We knew about the stairs but be aware that the apartment is on the third floor and involve short flights of stairs within the apartment itself. Don't be put off by the condition of the parking area and entrance stairways - apartment itself is lovely. Coffee machine still leaks and shower hose too short to reach bracket on wall.

The flat was in a very good position with respect to the city center: just a few minutes walk from the cathedral and the main attractions of Rouen, and it was possible to reach the apartment by car.

The flat was not properly clean, for example the towels did smell bad. Also, the coffee machine did not work.

How can the owner sell accommodation, knowing that the boiler sometimes plays up, making an unbearable constant loud sound every night from 2am-6am, which means you cannot sleep... The minimum customer service would be to offer some sort of compensation, but his response was very arrogant and not willing to do anything. After having no choice but to take things to a higher level with Booking.com, thankfully they studied the case and refunded a part. It shouldn't have even had to get to that stage. What a shame, the owner's lack of customer service at the end left things bitter.

It was a horrible stay in that dirty and discussing place! If you want to have a peaceful stay in Rouen, just choose another host! When we started preparing the bed, we realized that there was a big blood stain on the blanket. Then we looked carefully around, and we found multiple spots on the sofa and the bed linen! Indeed, they did not clean the property at all! It was awful to stay there, and the owner did not pick up his/her phone at all. On the other hand, booking.com was also absolutely disappointing. They did not help us, and the owner did not agree to cancel the booking. So we had to pay for such a disgusting place! I can say that the owner is a scammer who did not pay back our money or apologize even after seeing all of this.

Perfect location in Rouen in a well equipped quirky apartment with parking

Location was fantastic. It was a very short and pleasant walk to reach the old centre of Rouen and we could see the spires of the cathedral from the kitchen window. The apartment was quirky, and very well equipped. The coffee maker with pods was a really nice touch and we appreciated the WiFi and Netflix. Check-in and parking was incredibly easy. Philippe was incredibly helpful and communication was excellent.

The stairs to the apartment might be a bit tricky for anyone with reduced mobility.

Great location just a few minutes from the old town. Well equipped apartment although we hardly used any of the facilities. Free parking right outside was very useful.

Obtaining the key on arrival was a little difficult but Philippe was on call and quickly assisted.

Good for reaching the centre of Rouen but with drawbacks

The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and in a good location for walking into the centre of Rouen

The staircase access to the third floor location was dirty. Because the weather was so hot the windows needed to be open all the time and the incessant noise (music and shouting) which didn't stop until 4.30 am made sleeping impossible. Whilst private parking was available reaching it especially with GPS proved difficult because of all the one way streets. A map would have been useful. The short walk supposedly of 8 minutes might apply to younger people but we are late 70s and the distance in the heat was not easy. More information needed.

Excellent place to visit Rouen. Very quite apartment right by the city center.

Message sent by the landlord was very good and he was easy to contact per phone, so no problem at all. Excellent location right at the edge of the city center. We had the possibility to park the car in a secure place. A small supermarket, bakery and bars and restaurant are all within a few minutes by foot.

The shades in the bathroom should be replace, but appart from that no issue at all.

Appartamento al terzo ed ultimo piano di una casa tradizionale, molto luminoso, possibilità di parcheggio in cortile privato. Appartamento arredato con gusto, letti comodi, ampia cucina e ben attrezzata, frigorifero molto capiente, Doccia in vasca, ma comoda. Bella vista sulla città, Presenza di molte prese elettriche,

nulla. L'unico neo possono essere le scale, ma in un locale storico/tradizionale non si può pretendere l'ascensore.

Er is feitelijk geen beschikbare parkeerplaats. Weinig en buitengewoon krap en grote kans dat ze al bezet zijn en je auto wordt beschadigd.Gevraagd om alternatieve plekken gratis parkeren maar wat we vonden was betaald parkeren. Wees gewaarschuwd. Het viel ons tegen. Appartement heeft trappetjes; wc werkte niet altijd en gootsteen verstopt. Doucheslag veel te kort. Wij komen hier niet terug. Drie hoog zonder lift. Wel op goede locatie.

Отличные апартаменты! Расположение классное и удобное, много места в квартире, все чисто и красиво, есть чай, кофе, макароны, рис, хороший интернет, удобные кровати, стиралка! Очень уютно, мансардные окна. Заселение бесконтактное, хозяин на связи, отвечает быстро.

Шумит бойлер ночью, не сильно, но с непривычки может мешать. Его можно отключить, только тогда придется утром ждать когда нагреется горячая вода. В остальном все было супер, лучшее место в Руане! Если будем возвращаться, то сюда.

La localisation et la possibilité de se garer dans la cour. Positionnement idéal pour visiter Rouen.

Que le chauffage n'ait pas été allumé lors de notre arrivée alors qu'il faisait très froid. La serrure de la porte d'entrée de l'immeuble est très "capricieuse", la qualité des ustensiles de cuisine un remplacement de la casserole ne serait pas un luxe, ainsi que les verres (pour un logement donné pour 4 personnes, il n'y avait pas 4 verres identiques, c'est dommage), et café, thé et produits pour le lave-vaisselle étaient promis mais absents.

-pas de prises de terre (PE) dans l'appartement, ce qui est une aberration en 2024...et ...qui est dangereux avec des enfants en bas âge! -une place de parking qui est au premier venu. Il y a effectivement une petite cour intérieure avec max 4 places. En règle générale, avant 17h vous aurez probablement de la chance, entre 17-19h c'est compliqué et après 19h tout est plein y compris dans les rues adjacentes (parking gratuit dès 19h). -des parties communes des pas plus jolies et quelque peu odorantes.

L'appartamento si salva solo per due cose: la posizione molto centrale ed il parcheggio gratuito nel cortile adiacente la porta di ingresso.

Ci sono due aspetti molto negativi: la serratura della porta di accesso alla palazzina é molto difettosa, non riuscivamo ad aprire al rientro tardi dal ristorante ed anche se ho chiamato il gestore al telefono, non ha risposto, ma ha solo mandato un msg di riprovare, alla fine siamo riusciti ad entrare ma lo stress é stato tanto. La maniglia di accesso al bagno é anche lei molto difettosa, infatti non abbiamo mai chiuso la porta. Le lenzuola e fodere del terzo letto puzzavano di sudore ed abbiamo dovuto lavarle subito nella lavasciuga presente nella casa, che ovviamente non si sono asciugate per la prima notte. Sostanzialmente la pulizia della casa va molto migliorata. Le padelle in cucina molto rovinate.
