The house, location, views

Great location, very close to KV and and since it was behind locked gates on a farm it felt safe for a solo traveller. But it offered privacy. Beautiful view. Firepit was a bonus, especially with the firewood provided when I was there. The bed was super comfortable. And a nice suprise was the added covering on the deck with the chairs to read a book. The host was very responsive when I had questions.
The cabin is showing it's age. The heating inside via the split air-conditioning unit works fine to heat the cabin, but when it's on it's very loud, to the point I thought a helicopter was flying over the cabin very low. It's extremely loud in the shower cubicle where the sound vibrates.

Kitchen - good space and usable and well equipped
There was no awning in front of the main door which didn’t allow us to sit outside to enjoy the view. Unfortunately we had rain throughout our stay so the place was quite noisy.
Bathrooms - would have been good to have some ventilation to help draw the steam
Inside fire place had a water leak in the roof
Insects was attracted to the light
There were some bee hives outside
