The Mareeya Place

Our very accommodating hosts Frank Ann and family, its location room facilities comfort cleanliness and superb breakfast. Such an amazing find which made our ladies only first trip to Thailand even better thank you Frank and Ann for making us feel so welcome and looking after us.

Very comfortable room, nice relaxing balcony. Excellent location, 2 minutes walk to a beautiful beach, perfect for swimming. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, massage. The hosts were exceptional, if you need anything they really look after you. Very good value for money. Thank you to Frank, Anne and the staff.

Ann & Frank use their separate competences to create a genuine visiting experience, but catered to a westerner customer with the essential needs that we care for. Thank you so much Ann & Frank! I hope we meet again!

There is always room for improvement, but that would essentially lead to a larger price tag as well. The way it's set up now, you get an incredible value for your money compared to what's offered in the neighborhood, and with that you get a clean and fresh room, with working appliances. Some aspects of the experience is equally good to match any traditional luxury hotel, and some are plainly good enough to be absolutely acceptable for a couple of nights stay. I think the main thing that I would wish to see The Mareeya Place develop, is their own restaurant where we could also eat safely (because food poisoning lurks everywhere around here), but if i didnt overhear wrong, I think that plan might already be in the works.
