Charming and comfortable flat in Glasgow

A beautiful and very clean flat. Good Wifi. The flat is within close proximity of a bus stop and a train station, so getting to the city centre is easy and quick. The host is very friendly and helpful. She gave us many fantastic tips on what to do with our time in Glasgow. She took the time to us around her garden flat in the same building, which was also very beautiful and clean. The interior of the garden flat is in a different style compared to this apartment, but it was just as charming and had a nice outside lounge. If we return to Glasgow, we'd be very happy to stay in either of those flats again.

Lovely apartment in a great location and a fabulous hostess

Beautiful apartment! Spacious and classy. The host was most accommodating and quick to respond to any queries. Location is fabulous, few mins walk to public transport and to the high street. I’d recommend this apartment

A relaxing, enjoyable four days.

Location was ideal and the apt. was very well appointed with everything and more than I could possibly want. Multiple TVs, microwave, oven, cook top, large fridge/freezer, coffee machine, dish washer, clothes washer and drier, a wonderful hoste and more.

There was no convenient place to hang clothes; I pointed out that to the owner and I am sure she will take care of it. Not within walking distance from the center of town, but suited our needs perfectly

Bright, spacious and homely apartment

It was a beautiful apartment that had everything you need and more. It was bright and spacious so you felt comfortable spending time in there. I thought it was a lot further out the city until I arrived and found the train was an easy £2.40 return to the city centre and taxis were usually less that £10. we’d easily stay again next time we are in Glasgow.

you can't make noise after 12am, get told that the tv is loud and we need to switch it off!! plus tv in the room you can't watch anything because it don't work!! Saturday had builds making noise that we where told on the day!!!

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, situated close to public transport and shops in Rutherglen. It’s set in a quiet neighbourhood where I could come and go with ease. Shannon is a beautiful person and host, making sure everything was just right and my needs met.

Quaint apartment with lots of character, set in a great location and an amazing host

The host of this property was amazingly friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She offered us mini souvenirs, and we were greeted by her upon arrival. The house has a charm to it and is in a great location. The owner got on so well with my mum and she had her dog with her in the apartment which mum loved.

The stay overall was great and I enjoyed my time at this apartment! If I had to make any comment on what could be improved, as a personal opinion it felt like I was in someone's house as there were personal belongings around the property. This was not an issue during my stay, however if I were to return with my partner or for other couples, more privacy may be preferred and the apartment could be cleaned a bit more especially for those with dust allergies.

Scotland was glorious so it stands to reason that it’s people would be too.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It felt like a home on a lovely quiet street close to shops, restaurants and pubs. The best part about my stay was Shannon the owner of the house. She was there to welcome me and show how things worked. She also gave me a list of places to eat around the area. But she was so wonderful going above and beyond the duties of host in buying me an adapter for my laptop and giving me a ride to the station in the pouring rain.

Trip to Glasgow for a concert at Hampden (walking distance) beautiful property, clean, great host.

We arrived and parked right outside and once inside and settled, Shannon the host came over to talk us through the coffee maker, showed us smoothie maker with frozen fruit in freezer, water direct from the fridge. There are large TV’s in living room and bedroom with Netflix, Disney+. Beds are so comfy and towels are luxury, with a powerful shower and spa bath. The whole property was spotless and tastefully decorated. Great location in a quiet area with easy access for Hampden Park and City centre. We went to a pub less than five minutes walk with a lovely sun terrace and when we looked at the menu it was a Wetherspoons. Best one I’ve seen haha. We walked home after a gig at Hampden Park at it took 30 minutes which was a godsend. Definitely be back, the host Shannon was really helpful and has a fantastic book collection in every room for any avid reader. When leaving we just shut the door and put the key back in the key box.

We had the best time ever on our visit and we went to a concert and hearing peoples issues getting back to the city centre we were so glad we were closer to Hampden Park with easy access to city centre rather than being right in the city. There was nothing not to like.

Horrendous. Ruined by the host.

Property was not clean, it was dark and dingy and the host was so rude. We are 2 married couples in our forties and we booked to stay here for 2 nights as we were attending a concert at Hampden on the first night. On return to the apartment after the concert we were very respectable of the no noise policy and sat in the living area without music or television, there was no shouting, singing or dancing, it was just 4 adults having a normal civilised conversation.. But due to this being an adapted house in which the host sleeps in the upstairs living space, the host called, banged on the ceiling and contacted booking.com to say that we were making noise yet we were speaking so quietly. Even when the women went to bed the men were still sitting having a drink and speaking quietly, we could not hear them from the bedroom next to them so why on earth the host still thought it was necessary to bang on the ceiling and then cancel our second night in the property without any prior warning is bizarre. This is undoubtedly the worst hospitality we have EVER experienced and we travel a lot. In my opinion, if you are going to rent out your home with the selling point being ‘close to hampden’, then you have got to allow people to speak. I have never experienced such hostility and rudeness in all the places we have stayed, I honestly feel violated. I would completely understand if we’d been playing music, shouting or dancing but that was certainly not the case, we were simply having a conversation. That’s it. Even when the lady called us from booking.com to say that the host had abruptly cancelled our 2nd night she was astounded at the fact that there was ZERO noise. Booking.com are fantastic. The host of this property is not. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in complete silence and you don’t mind the grubby thrift shop interior or the feeling that you are being secretly spied on, then you’re in the right place.
