Cute cabin for a countryside getaway

Really cute cabin with plenty of space between the cabins.

The drains did create a smell in the cabin, there weren’t any towels (which you are told beforehand) but a hand towel or dryer in the bathroom would be nice.

Relaxing and quiet

It was very quiet due to the time of year that we went, so was very relaxing. Made chilling in the hot tub better for me, and with no noise made it relaxing. Tom was amazing as well.

Peaceful beautiful place

Such a beautiful place to stay everything you need is there like kitchen wear and bedding such a great place for couples to stay will definitely be coming back wanted to stay here forever so peaceful the hot tub was so lovely and definitely enjoyed it

Lovely campsite and the cabin itself was secluded and peaceful. Inside was clean and well equipped

Cosy but needs some improvements

Loved the hot tub and garden area with bbq and fairy lights. It was cosy and was surprised with a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Check in was easy and simple. Lovely location with good distance between each hut. Comfy bed and good storage.

The shower we planned to have in the morning didn’t happen because we couldn’t get any hot water. Lots of cob webs and bugs throughout the whole shepherds hut and also mould/damp next to the shower. No bin outside of property to follow their instructions of emptying inside bin into.

Great campsite, cute cabin but terrible sleep

Beautiful campsite with a lovely feel about it, really cute cabin and hot tub all set up and ready to go when we arrived. Effortless contactless check in. Good communication prior to arriving with clear instructions on how to get there. Really good good at the Hubbles cafe on site. Well cooked and great staff.

The bed situation was desperately bad. One bed and one sofa bed. The main bed had an enormous sink hole in the mattress which made sleeping pretty impossible and clearly no one has actually slept on the depressing little sofa bed before selling it to the paying public. It was awful. 1 inch thick mattress on an uncomfortable metal frame. Everyone was pretty grumpy the next day unfortunately. Such a shame as apart from being slightly grubby ( shower head was covered in mould) the cabin was very sweet and we would have loved to have returned but probably not an option without ability to sleep.

The scrumpy lodge

Loved the bbq facilities and the fact it had a fan to cool it down on a hot day. Decent little kitchen and loved that the bedroom had a tv. Great outside space and not too crowded. The bed was quite comfy.

The hot tub was supposed to be ready to get in when we arrived, however it was beyond boiling!. We couldn't get in it till late evening and even when we wanted the get in it, it had a layer of scum ontop of the water. It says on the wall on the cabin it gets cleaned between stays but it didn't look clean at all!..was very excited about the hot tub but was let down.

Pretty,peaceful and great little cabin!

Really didnt expect the little cabin to be such a pretty place in a great peaceful location. All the facilities you would need, I was staying on business but would return with friends and family.

I arrived quite late and couldnt make a drink as no milk, not a huge issue and definitely not a complaint

Lovely, relaxing mini-moon spot.

Cabin was lovely, clean and tidy. Loved they are all named after flowers was a nice little touch. Bed was comfortable. Cabin was warm and easily accessible. All microwave, toaster and kettle worked, cups, glasses and plates and cutlery were clean and shining.

Smell in the bathroom, weather the our cabin is in the wrong location or the sewer was backed up. Only a real problem on the last morning and easily fixed with an open window.

A wonderful little place!

A really well presented, cosy accommodation. Really clean and well equipped. Everything you would need for a short break. The kitchen area and shower room are just right.

Could do with a little shelf around the sleeping area. The enclosed area which has been added since the photo is great for the dogs but there’s a little gap where a small dog could escape, but both are easily sorted, more an observation than a dislike.

Beautiful chalet and surroundings

Great location, lovely chalet, staff was friendly and helpful, we stayed an additional night to extend our stay. We brought our pet dog and he loved the grounds for a walk. We have a 7 month old baby and they provided a cotbed for free which was so handy

Everything was great, the only comment we would make is, the sofa bed needs to been cleaned - needs Vaxing/deep clean as it was marked from previous guests. Also, we noticed cobwebs in door ways, and smell coming from bathroom sink which we resolved with a bottle of bleach - that may have been because the site is situated on a borehole

What a beautiful place. Didn't want to go home. So peaceful. Booked last minute to go with my partner and 2 dogs. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, cabin so cozy and the hot tub was just perfect! Can't wait to go back

Relaxing

We stayed in the woolpack lodge for my partners birthday and used the fishing facilities Lodge- exceptionally clean and cozy feel to it. The hot tub was lovely in the evening as the entire outdoor part of the cabin has lighting fitted. We’ve never used a Swedish hot tub before but really enjoyed controlling the temperature by adding firewood, it added a glamping feel. Food - We went to the restaurant for an evening meal and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Reasonable priced alcoholic drinks too We came back for breakfast the next morning and loved it, I had eggs Benedict and it was delicious, my partner had a full English and everything was cooked fresh and quality food Fishing- reasonable prices to fish and really enjoyable pleasure fishing - would love to come back with the kids! Spoke to the owners in the restaurant and they are so lovely, I was asking for recommendations which lodge is good for children and Lisa told me exactly which ones would accommodate my two kiddies. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you It’s rare for a fishery to have all the lovely facilities fendicks have to offer

A relaxing stay in a clean and charming cabin with great outdoor vibes.

We really loved the peaceful location and the beautiful natural surroundings. The cabin was spotless and had a warm, welcoming feel. It was so nice to sit outside in the evening under the fairy lights, listening to the birds and enjoying the calm atmosphere — a perfect spot to relax

Disappointing

It was in a lovely place and set out very nice.

The hot tub was still at 48 degrees at 9pm at night so despite paying extra for a superior chalet we couldn’t even use the hot tub. The shower was also cold.

Girlie getaway!

Everything was clean. The staff were lovely and friendly and super accommodating. Facilities in the superior cabin was excellent. The food at the restaurant was reasonable price and fantastic quality. The onesie bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. We loved it so much that were coming back next month!

Just what I needed to get away from everything to recharge for a night. Fantastic stay.

I was in Buttercup. So pretty when I opened the door. Everything you need. Clean and very comfortable.

Couldn’t get some channels on the tv. But watched Emmerdale on my phone. Bloke cutting the grass for the 3 hours before I left was annoying. But it has to be cut I suppose if I come again I won’t book a Friday morning. (Hoping he does it for the weekend guests)

The location was great, and although took a little while was very warm and very comfy bed.

There wasn’t enough toilet roll for a one night stay which I was suprised by.

Lovely little separate bubbles of warm and comfort not near any other guess or staff.

Worked out where the cabin was and the keysafe from instructions so didn't need to find anyone or an office, lovely to come back at night and wander across the field to our own cosy little bubble of warm and comfort without having to worry about anyone else around.

Excellent location, with wonderful views and privacy

The cabin was wonderful. It was -2 outside and the cabin was still toasty inside. It’s an excellent location and allows you to stay away from the hectic environment of life.

The floors were very cold, so I would suggest if you go in winter to take some slippers.
