Very nice rural retreat. A little too close to the main road so noisy on north aspect.

Exceedingly poor lighting for access at night. Toaster needs replacement. No welcome pack provided which was unfortunate as we arrived after midnight due to plane delay. Security alarm had not been disarmed prior to our arrival!! which did cause a problem after midnight.

LA UBICACION ES EXCELENTE PARA VISITAR EL NORTE DE LA ISLA. EL ESPACIO DE LAS ESTANCIAS ES EL ADECUADO. LA PISCINA ES GENIAL. NO HABIA RUIDO, LO CUAL ES GENIAL PARA DESCANSAR Y DESCONECTAR.

LA LIMPIEZA ES MUY SUPERFICIAL. LOS TECHOS TIENEN MUCHAS TELARAÑAS, HABIA INSECTOS MUERTOS PEGADOS EN LAS PAREDES (MUCHOS MOSQUITOS). FALTABAN ENCHUFES EN LA CASA, SOLO 1 POR HABITACION. ALGUNAS ESTANCIAS TENIAN LAS BOMBILLAS FUNDIDAS. INTENTE COMUNICARME EN VARIAS OCASIONES CON LA EMPRESA QUE GESTIONA LA VIVIENDA Y MIS MENSAJES NO FUERON CONSTESTADOS, TAN SOLO PUDE HABLAR CON ELLOS CUANDO LLAME AL TELEFONO DE EMERGENCIAS PORQUE HABIAN CORTADO EL AGUA (EL DUEÑO SE ENCARGO Y VINO INMEDITAMENTE A SOLUCIONARLO). HABIA MUCHOS MOSQUITOS, PERO ES COMPRENSIBLE PORQUE LA CASA ESTA EN EL CAMPO. AUNQUE AVISARON QUE NO HABIA ARTICULOS DE BAÑO NI DE COCINA, DADO QUE LA VIVIENDA SE ENCUENTRA EN EL CAMPO, ALEJADA DE SUPERMERCADOS, SERIA DE AGRADECER QUE DEJARAN ARTICULOS DE ASEO (GEL, CHAMPU, JABON DE MANOS) Y DE COCINA (LAVAVAJILLAS PARA LAVAR A MANO). ES LA PRIMERA VEZ QUE ME ALOJO EN UN ALOJAMIENTO QUE NO TIENE ESTE TIPO DE ARTICULOS. NO PUDIMOS DISFRUTAR DEL ESPACIO EXTERIOR DE LA CASA PORQUE HABIA UN GATO CALLEJERO QUE SE SUBIA A LA MESA PARA QUITARNOS LA COMIDA, SI DEJABAMOS TOALLAS FUERA SE ENGANCHABA EN ELLAS, Y SI DEJABAMOS LA PUERTA ABIERTA INTENTABA COLARSE. FUE UNA PENA NO PODER COMER EN LA TERRAZA. EL DUEÑO NOS DIJO QUE SON GATOS CALLEJEROS, NO TIENEN DUEÑO, Y VAN POR LAS CASAS BUSCANDO COMIDA.

A wonderful place, we cannot rate it highly enough. The whole experience from end to end was excellent. The managing company answered all our questions and helped us with everything we needed; the owner who popped in occasionally to water the exquisite garden was a lovely chap and clearly wanted to ensure we had a great time; and the location is outstanding if you're looking for a little slice of peaceful heaven (at the back of the house by the pool and terrace away from the road, which is quite busy but didn't bother us at all - not least as it affords great access). We had nightingales singing in the garden, rare eagles circling overhead, and yet in 3 mins you can drive into Pollenca. What's more the house itself is highly traditional with lots of period features, which we love - a water well in the garden, old fires and features around the house. This is the sort of authenticity we look for when we travel. We were very impressed and will book again - an absolutely charming place, highly recommended.

The only improvement would have been to have a couple of things available on arrival. The company was very clear that it's self-catering and so quite rightly everything must be provided by the guests. However when arriving late on a flight there may not be shops open so having a bottle of water and perhaps some more hand soap would have been helpful, just to tide us over until we got to the shop the next morning. Still, just minor feedback, we were overall highly impressed by the whole experience.
