Sunset 128 Sandown Bay Holiday Centre Generous Ferry Saving!

It's a peaceful place to stay, quite comfortable, dog friendly, love it there,

I think it's a bit tired now, been here a few times before, shower isn't very good and it needed a lighter quilt on the bed, too warm, also could have done with air fryer

We enjoyed the proximity to the sea and to Sandown and the nice walks to be had. The beach is accessible close by via a precipitous path. Quiet site with much grassy area for an old dog to sniff around. Chalet a nice size, great shower, welcome tea, milk and biscuits. Well equipped, clean kitchen. Cosy, jolly chalet. Lots of hot water available and heaters/fans if needed. Owners sent a welcome message and were pleasant to deal with. Great deal on ferry cost.

The stove wasn't completely working and some of the pans don't appear to work on the ceramic hob. The bed had a mattress topper but this didn't quite fill the craters in the mattress! The chalet could have been cleaner - dust around the bed frame, and some dust and hair around the place. Parking a little awkward if you can't carry your stuff far and in full season I think we'd have had difficulty finding a consistent spot. Contrary to the listing, towels are NOT provided (but for 1 hand towel and tea towel) but fortunately we were notified prior to arrival. Sandown's small town is in need of much tlc!

Parking was a little frustrating but nothing too problematic

Everything about this stay was perfect, easy access, very friendly accommodating hosts, very clean beautiful chalet, perfect location near the beach, easy to travel around the island and visit tourist attractions. Can't recommend enough and hope to return.
