This hotel was great. The location was perfect 150m walk from the castle, restaurants, and shopping areas. Rooms beautiful. Breakfast delicious, freshly cooked and served. The staff was so helpful making reservations for the Mofit Cultural Center Sema Ceremony and other activities. Rooftop terraces were perfect for group activities after a long day.

Serenus is an excellent hotel and we just loved it!!

We loved our stay in Serenus! The staff was unbelievable helpful and kind which brought us a lot of positive energy every day! We loved the location as it was not as Göreme so we were able to relax on the most beautiful roof terrace! Especially the hot tub created the most dreamy atmosphere! Thanks to everyone at Serenus for making us feel so welcome ❤️

There is only one thing as the rest was just amazing! Sadly the dogs in the neighbourhoods barked during the night so that it was hard to sleep through

Exceptional

Superlative view of the Ortahisar castle and the surroundings from the terraces. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and unmatchable window views as well. While ideally situated in the heart of Cappadocia, Ortahisar is quiet and has a more traditional feel than Goreme or Urgup. A minor inconvenience was handled immediately by the staff, who offered us a free room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. Great value for money, highly recommended!

Our stay at Serenus Cave Suites exceeded our expectations! The staff were very helpful, nice and always greeted us with smiles. They went the extra mile to make sure our stay and our vacation was fun, comfortable and safe. Definitely recommend, we will be staying again next time we are in Kapadokya!

I want to share with my best hotel experience. Even though I have a quite extensive traveling background, “Serenus Cave Suits” in Cappadocia is going to occupy the top place in my list of hotels. I stayed there for a few days. I came here to change the usual pattern of my birthday celebration and it was worth it. Stepping through the gates of the hotel, I was immediately fascinated by the beautiful and incredible view of the building enclosed in the mountain. This is a kind of family hotel, and as the owner told me, it took a lot of time to transform and renovate the family nest into the hotel. The owners made the design of the place using their own imagination and you feel it because even a tiny space was made with great love and care of the guests. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. They always greeted and smiled at us making our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfasts in the style of “Turkish breakfast” were amazing and the dinner the staff organized for my birthday was delicious and healthy. To make my day they presented me a cake we shared with the owners and some staff members. We talked, drank nice Turkish tea and I had the feeling of being at home with my family and friends. The location of the hotel is great and from my window, there was a fantastic view. My room was not only perfectly decorated and super cozy but well equipped with all essentials and a Turkish bath. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for tourists who want to feel at the hotel as they are at home. I wish to come to this place again!!!

Warm, cosy and excellent stay

The staff was excellent; they did their best to make us feel comfortable and at home. Once they found out I was a vegan, they prepared a vegan breakfast for me. The Effort is much appreciated. Thanks for everything!

GREAT hotel with Beautiful rooms, Wonderful staff and Good breakfast

From the first moment we arrived, the staff was VERY Friendly and Welcoming, ESPECIALLY the young guy named Azer who became a friend of ours, such a Nice and Gentle person. The room was really BEAUTIFUL and had an AWESOME bathroom with a big tub. GREAT Hotel. 100% RECOMMEND

The bed was comfortable und the place very quiet

I notified that my arrival was late for check-in due to flight delay and the staff was not prepared to receive me. I had to wait 30 min to receive the room at 1:30 in the morning. For a moment I thought that I had to find another hotel because the reception was closed and the phone was not answered. But in general I noticed that when you want to ask the hotel for help, the staff does not answer your calls and leaves your messages on seen. The room smelled of humid and of the 3 nights that I stayed they only cleaned the bed. They did not take out the garbage, they did not change the towels and they did not leave toilet paper. Breakfast looks like a mid-day snack, from my point of view zero healthy. An egg, cheese, bread, a lot of fried potatoes and fried sausages. To appreciate the balloons in the morning from the terrace this area is not convenient because only 3 to 5 balloons maximum were appreciated. For internet, if you do not have a Turkish sim card, there is no internet access in the hotel.

Exceptional views, great staff and excellent food!

Loved the views and the fact that it was very quiet. The interior and exterior design was exceptional. Also, the manager of the hotel was very friendly and she provided all the information and the help for us! Also, she speaks very good english, so i strongly recommend this nice place.

Stayed during 32+ and there was no air conditioner, so it was hot, but that's me coming from Ireland (nothing to do with the hotel).

Very special hotel whit a beautifull fieuw and rooms. All rooms are authentic decorated whit mostly antique furniture. The beds and doors are beautifull. The staff was very kind and helpfull. Especially Mrs. Zubeyde. The area is dreamy peacefull and you got the best vieuw in this hotel. Very tasted breakfast included. We enjoyed our stay and special thanks to the team Serenus!❤️

Stunning, cozy (and very affordable) cave stay

We could not have asked for a more perfect hotel in Ortahisar. We stayed in the King Suite with Spa Bath and it was one of the coolest and most luxurious rooms I’ve stayed in. We slept so well in the cave - but some weird dreams! The town itself was sleepy but still interesting, with a beautiful overlook and a couple cool and cozy underground wine bars. Zübeyde was enormously helpful in getting us settled and helping us get taxis and plan tours in the area, including one day of horseback riding which was stunning. Thanks for making our weekend away from Istanbul really special.

I’d recommend you get directions from the hotel if you’re driving because Google Maps recommends an undrivable route

De kamer was heel ruim en het hotel ligt op loopafstand van de winkels en de restaurants.

Het was veel erg warm in de kamer. Ook nadat we de radiator uitgezet hadden was het nog veel te warm. Verder was het bad fijn om te hebben, maar vies. Wij liepen van hotel naar hotel. Van alle vijf hotels viel deze ons eigenlijk toch wel het meest tegen, ook al zijn de kamers mooi en heel ruim.

Soggiorno in cave suites top!

Struttura molto bella, le camere-caves sono di recente realizzazione, pulite e curate. Ottima la vasca con idromassaggio! Il plus è dato però dall'ottima gestione e accoglienza dei titolari e di suo figlio. Consiglio davvero! Sono quegli incontri che in un viaggio ti arricchiscono. In bocca al lupo per il futuro e per il vostro lavoro.

La colazione è molto buona e davvero abbondante. Unica nota, capisco che essendo a gestione familiare e preparando le cose al momento sia difficile, ma in Cappadocia ci si sveglia spesso molto presto, riuscire ad anticipare l'inizio della colazione alle 7:30/8 permetterebbe di gestirsi meglio, ma siamo davvero su delle piccolezze. Andate al Serenus!

El desayuno es excelente, con gran variedad y calidad. Incluso un día que tuvimos actividad temprana la dueña nos adelantó es desayuno para nuestra comodidad. Pero sin dudas lo mejor del hotel es la amabilidad de los dueños que atienden. El matrimonio de Nurgul y Deniz junto con su hijo Baris están a plena disposición para hacer sentir al huésped como en casa, y lo logran totalmente. Son fantásticos
