Good option for exploring Cappadocia.

Unique room (including a reading cave!). Excellent breakfast. Fantastic view from the property. Good location for exploring the region. Restaurants within walking distance. Helpful staff.

Shower head needed repair. The room was kind of dark, but the when the staff heard that, they brought us an extra light.

Overall very good stay and good breakfast.

The stay was overall good and we stayed in a Cave room which made it excellent. There were multiple shops,restaurants, groceries etc very near-by to the hotel. The hotel is little far away from City center , however still good. The owner can be met at the hotel and is always helpful in organising any tours or any other help required. We overall liked the hotel very much and would recommend anyone.

Perfect Kapadokya Hotel!

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous and had such a vibe! Our best stay in the whole of Turkey. From the welcoming staff, Barney the cat, the stunning room and comfortable cozy surrounds, it was just perfect. Room amenities all perfect, comfortable and functional. Couldn't recommend this place any higher! Ata was the best host and went above and beyond to sort additional services for us. The breakfast was top notch too! Not a bad word to say about this place.

Had no room to stay in and no key to stay in room. Room had bugs

Property had bugs all in the room that I couldn’t stay there. Stayed there approximately 4hrs tops. Checked out and booked a flight out of there. Customer service desk told me I can get a refund

The bathroom is integrated to the room, so it is not very private. Me and my husband make turns on the room to have more privacy. (lol)

Special place to experience Cappadocia

We were looking for a place with a local flavor to stay in Cappadocia and it was a perfect choice! The hotel is very small and cozy, with around 10 rooms - each room had a special cave-style like interior with a lot of small beautifully details. There was a pool in our room and a fireplace in the room of my parents. The whole building has a beautiful panorama on the Ortahisar castle and multiple sitting areas in the inside courtyard. Ortahisar is less touristy than other popular locations as Goreme, but located close by all main landmarks. It was convenient to commute with a car and easy to find a parking spot in front of the hotel. We also loved the traditional breakfast - it was cooked every morning for each guest. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful and I can definitely recommend this place if you look for traditional cave hotel.

A special and memorable cave hotel stay with a private pool

The cave-style room was beautifully designed with authentic details, and having a private swimming pool inside the room was a very unique experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist when needed.

Because of the swimming pool in the room, the air was quite humid. Luckily, the staff quickly brought an anti-humidity device, which helped improve the situation.

An incredible place to stay

One of my best experiences. I loved the cave room with a pool. The service was incredible. They helped us with everything we needed for a tour, car rental, and good suggestions for places to eat and visit. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

The hotel itself is stunning, clean, and perfectly located, but what truly made my experience unforgettable was the hospitality. Atakan is, without a doubt, the best host I have ever met. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for his guests went far beyond expectations. He made me feel welcomed, valued, and completely at home. Every recommendation he gave was spot on, and he was always available to help with anything I needed. The two ladies in the kitchen, they are the cutest and very lovely. I will recommend Doda Hotel enough – if you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, style, and world-class service, this is it. I will absolutely be coming back!

Amazing experience on its all!!!

We couldn't ask for more during our stay in Cappadocia!!!!!! For us it is the most stylish and beautifully decorated cave hotel in the whole area of Nevsehir! The breakfast which included homemade and local products was made every day with care and it was really really rich, so we would actually have dinner late at night after our tours! They also gave us great advise in everything, including their own sightseeing - map that turned out to be essential for organising well our visits there! The owners were super friendly and trully kind and beautiful people, that made EVEN MORE unforgettable our visit there!!! I mean...what else could we possibly ask for ??? I really cannot recommend Doda Artisanal Cave Hotel enough!!!!!!! Thank you from our heart again Doda family and each and every one of you that made our stay that special! I had a good time.

The room was exactly as shown in the advertised images, it even exceeded expectations. I was aware the area would be a little quiet, but it’s within walking distance to the nearest attractions, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The staff were very helpful, and the owner, Seda, along with Bobby the cat, were absolutely lovely and they have great breakfast too.

Excellent stay in Cappadocia

Doda staff makes you feel at home, everyone is very kind and available in accommodating every request. The room is extremely comfortable and with wide spaces, while the internal courtyard gives the possibility to enjoy the calm and the view of Ortahisar. The breakfast is extraordinary and it is almost a lunch. Special mention for Barney the cat of the hotel and the sweetest cat on the planet and the kind women in the reception area (always available notwithstanding the language barrier).

5/5 staff, breakfast and room, we loved it!

The room was amazing with vernacular design, super comfy and authentic. The staff was extremely helpful and caring, it was one of our best experience! The town is much more silent compared to the other towns in Cappadocia but this was a plus for us actually. If you plan to rent a car or travel with taxi, everything will be much easier.

There was nothing importantly negative about the room. Maybe it would be great to have some extra lighting in the room as an option.

Disappointing.

Kitchen ladies were lovely, always had smile, served us very nicely. They were the best thing at the hotel.

First location was away from the main areas Second room was clean outside area was dirty like never cleaned the furniture, bathing area felt dirty as well Third shower head dint work. Fourth every-time upstairs room drained water you could hear it on your bed as it was right above it. Fifth the photos are edited as you cannot see any airballons from this hotel.

Manager is a crook and should be fired. He's a disgrace to the hotel and Cappadocia

Rooms were well designed with a great shower

The manager was extremely rude, aggressive and unprofessional. He tried to take 22% commission from guests to book a taxi and tried to rip us off for as much money as he could whenever he had the chance. He threatened guests when they pushed back. He should be fired. Breakfast was covered in a swarm of flies so totally inedible.

It was a good stay.

The breakfast was wonderful and it was at a very good location. Super easy if you rent your own car. thats makes the entire cappadocia experience better because its an area thast you can enjoy best only if you have your own transportation.

The hotel charges extra money to ignite room firepalce. i think it should be complimentary for at least once a day. also the water provided is very less and for extra bottles they hotel charges. so I had to go and get my own water from the supermarket. one does not expect to be doing grocery shopping to avoid being overcharged on a holiday so it was a big turn off.
