It is absolutely terrible place to stay. I was here only one night and did not sleep all night! There is no bed linen, there was light on in the interior corridor all night, there is no AC and the fans are so extremely loud as if you were next to a huge engine in a factory and on top there were noises from outside. Strongly do not recommend. They speak only Portuguese, no other language

Needs Cleaning and Maintenance

We stayed at Villa Caiçara Paraty as a family of four. The bedroom was a bit small for our group, but acceptable considering the price. However, the main drawback was the outdoor kitchen, which unfortunately was not clean it had ants and sticky surfaces that made it uncomfortable to use. Alao shower is electric and had bad pressure.While the property offers good value overall, we recommend carefully checking the details before booking to avoid surprises.

Peaceful, relaxing & comfortable little stay

Cute, small apartment with everything you need - kitchen, bed, bathroom, desk. The location is less than 10min walk to the centre of town and I even walked back alone at midnight sometimes and always felt safe, even as a solo female, though I would recommend to stay somewhere closer if you really want to be in the action or with restaurants right close by. I visited for the Paraty UTMB event, and I would say the expo is about 12mins walk, but you could uber if you need. The property is lush with plants, and nice and relaxing with its private central courtyard. It’s a great base for your stay. Bear in mind you must pay extra (only R$ 5) for sheets, towel and blanket, and the blanket isn’t very thick if that’s what you like. There also isn’t aircon, but there is a strong fan which was totally fine for me as it wasn’t too hot when I visited.

Very nice stay

Camila was an amazing host. Always taking care of us and very thoughtful of our needs. I'd love to get back there at some point. As indicated in the map, it's not in the city center, but you can get there in a 5 min walk.

Si bien está cerca del centro histórico, es una zona donde hay venta de drogas, con circulación constante de bicis y motos, lo que dificulta el tránsito nocturno y el descanso.

Não vá se se você quer um lugar seguro.

Fica na parte perigosa de Paraty. Fomos apenas em mulheres e 1 criança, e ao chegar lá, fomos surpreendidos por ruas estreitas que passam apenas 1 carro, e muitas pessoas na rua, homens olhando para dentro do carro, pessoas vendando drogas na rua sem pudor.

Ao chegamos, não nos sentimos nem um pouco seguras, e começamos a tentar sair pelas ruazinhas. Fomos para o centro e tivemos que alugar uma pousada de ultima hora, o rapaz morador da cidade da recepção da nova pousada, disse que recentemente mataram um turista lá porque ele não havia entendido um sinal de "pare" que deram pra ele, e informou que eles mesmos que moram lá, não frequentam aquela area. Depois ao relatar pro booking, eles informaram que não tiveram sucesso ao contatar a acomodação, também não nos responderam, e não conseguimos cancelar, ficamos no prejuízo de R$540,00. O booking fez uma pequena colaboração de R$67 na minha carteira no app, mas não ajudou em nada. Caso duvidem do que falo, porem ver as avaliações da acomodação no Google.

Horrivel Tudo é ruim demais Nao caiam nesse golpe. Reclamacoes anteriores no reclame aqui. No meio da favela, homens armados quase na porta vendendo droga. Local quente com ventiladores super barulhentos. Banheiro quando voce da descarga agua sobe na pia. Um nojo. E o pior. O teto só tem 130 vc tem que andar engatinhando. Uma escada super perigosa e um tipo de sotao que pode cair e matar alguem. A proprietária além de mentirosa em vender fotos falsas é grosseira e praticamente nos expulsou depois que reclamamos. Amiga dos traficantes locais. Entrem no reclame aqui e vejam outras pessoas lesadas.uma pena eu nao ter visto antes. E uma vergonha o booking manter esse tipo de alojamento.

Apesar de ser próximo do centro, a pousada fica em uma comunidade, com muito barulho na rua, porém, apesar de ser uma rua muito movimentada e barulhenta, os moradores são respeitosos. Deixamos o carro na rua, pois não tem onde estacionar.

Ubicación insegura y ruidosa

La anfitriona fue muy amable, nos recibió muy bien. Lamentablemente, asi como llegamos nos fuimos. Si bien el hospedaje no está tan lejos del centro histórico, se ubica en una zona roja, en la puerta del lugar y al lado de nuestra ventana se escuchaba el intercambio entre bandas, peleas... El clima era bastante tenso y no nos sentimos para nada seguros.

De nada. O lugar é horrível, quando cheguei só não fui embora porque estava muito cansada. Mas o local é uma comunidade, onde tinha muitas motos fazendo barulho de escapamento, barulho excessivo, baile na frente, gente gritando. Não preguei o olho com medo, além do carro ter ficado numa rua estreita em frente, onde a propria proprietária disse que ficavam vendendo drogas na esquina. Paguei 2 diarias e fui embora no outro dia de manhã para alugar outro espaço. Joguei dinheiro fora.

Não gostei de nada. Dentro do apartamento também tinha gritaria pela manhã, gente andando em cima. Muito ruim o isolamento acustico. Minha filha ficou chorando que naõ conseguia dormir. Um horror.

O quarto é ótimo… a pousada é um charme… tinha uma senhora que conheci no último dia e ela foi muito simpática, a pousada fica na Ilha da cobra, realmente é perto de tudo, fizemos tudo andando.

O cheiro de maconha que entrava no nosso quarto, e eu com uma criança pequena. A localidade, pois é dentro de uma “comunidade” e logo na esquina tem uma boca de fumo, onde eles não andam armados, mas não me senti confortável, mas tbm o Rio de Janeiro está assim.

A localização é próxima do centro mas é no meio de uma comunidade tomada pelas facções. Não tem lugar para estacionar e o local não é bom ir depois das 20h, música alta no final de semana todo. Infelizmente isso não é falado no comunicado.

Se estiver procurando lugar mais silencioso não indico a pousada, tinha muito barulho de musica alta dos vizinhos e o quarto que fiquei ouvia tudo dos quartos e a janela virada para o quarto do vizinho cujo o vizinho não deixou eu abrir ela :( . o quarto tinha um ventilador muito barulhento e pouca luminosidade já que estava com uma das lâmpadas queimadas.
