It was a good break for me

A comfortable cottage with food, drinks, and supplies conveniently 5-minute drive away. Suggestions of where to go and what to do were available in a file in the cottage. We came from the north after 10 days in the Isle of Skye and driving through the NC500. While there, we went to Mallaig in the west, Glencoe to the east, and Southend in the south.

Lovely Scottish experience in this wee cottage

An amazing wee cottage just 10 min away from Fort William. Recommend a rented car to get there and move around. Anne the host is always available online to help out and to held in case of any issues in cottage or around the location. The cottage itself is well stocked and feels like home

Very pleasant stay, highly recommended

The cottage is very cozy and large enough for a group of people. There are two modern bathrooms, so little danger of interference or having to queue. The kitchen is very well equipped with two fridges, an oven and hotplates. In case of adverse weather, there is a very decent size selection of books and DVDs. Outdoor adventures, such as the Glencoe Mountain Resort (for skiing, if there is snow), Bidean Nam Bian, the Aonach Eagach or Buachaille Etive Mor are but a short drive away, as are a number of great restaurants and pubs.

Small quibbles: there was some hair in one of the bathrooms when we arrived and the dishwasher door joints have collected a bit of grime. But nothing major.

Beautiful location in a really cozy, but large cottage. There was plenty of space, all nicely decorated and in a calm location. Anna was a great host who really helped us with everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect, relaxing break.

Anne is a fantastic host. She is so helpful and welcoming. The cottage is perfect. Tastefully decorated, cosy, comfortable and has everything you need. It was spotlessly clean. The shower was amazing and wifi works well too. Just a short walk to a fantastic walk along Loch Linnhe. All in all we had a wonderful break and will definitely be returning.

Great cottage in a beautiful area

Lovely cottage, very close to the Loch and several very decent restaurants. Quick drive into Fort William or Glen Coe with great walks starting right outside the back door.

Road was a bit close to the back of the cottage, but noise was not a problem.

Eine Unterkunft die sich lohnt, wenn man viel unterwegs ist, da sie sehr günstig an der Straße liegt.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen, gute Ausstattung der Wohnung. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin.

Enttäuschend!

Das Haus ist sehr sauber, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und die Bäder modern. Die Fotos, die die nähere Umgebung zeigen, stimmen. Vom Haus aus ist fußläufig Wasser erreichbar, nur leider steht das Haus nicht in ruhiger Lage wie es die Fotos suggerieren.

Wir hatten von den Bewertungen her den Eindruck, dass das Haus ruhig gelegen ist. Das ist nicht der Fall!!! Es grenzt rückwärtig mit der Küche und dem Schlafzimmer mit den beiden getrennten Betten an die höher und immer ( und je nach Uhrzeit stärker) befahrene Straße nach Glencoe. Wir reisten zu Zweit und haben das nach vorne gelegene Schlafzimmer benutzt. Die Matratzen sind die unbequemsten auf denen wir je geschlafen haben! Wir sind normalgewichtig, fühlten aber jede Sprungfeder! Halbwegs bequem wurde das Bett nur durch die Oberbetten aus dem anderen Schlafzimmer, die wir als Topper benutzt haben. Für 4 Personen, sollten also beide Schlafzimmer genutzt werden, können wir das Haus leider nicht empfehlen! Unser Fazit:. NIE wieder!

Tolles kleines Ferienhaus mit super Ausstattung. Vor allem in der Küche war alles da, was man so braucht. Lage top, um das Glencoe zu erkunden.

Die Betten könnten etwas bequemer sein und man musste etwas mit dem Klopapier haushalten.
