Dog friendly bungalow

A really lovely bungalow. very well equipped and comfortable. Our dog loved the towels and dog bowls too! Dunkeld is stunning and an easy walk away. Kae was very helpful and responsive.

We had an excellent time at River House as a family! Thank you to Kae for everything, she’s a fantastic host and kindly helped us with all our extra requests. The house is perfect: spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It has everything you need, and everything is clearly labeled and easy to find. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the garden was lovely. We truly had a wonderful stay at River House. Highly recommended!

Little Dunkeld delivered a big weekend

Thoughtfully furnished & provisioned. Labelled drawers meant finding things was very straightforward. Lots of space & light, a lovely quiet retreat a short walk from Dunkeld.

TV signal is variable but internet is fab.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful area and we will be back again 👌

Bungalow was great for our grandchild to run around no stairs inside. Dogs had a great time outside in the fenced garden. House was very well equipped with everything we needed and will certainly be back. Dunkeld is only a short walk to some lovely coffee shops and eating places.

Only minor but maybe some nice blinds on front windows to make it more welcoming. Once inside the house it’s very roomy and we loved it.

Lovely property with great location beside the river and short walk into Dunkeld.

The location was fantastic right beside the river path. The showers were great and beds were comfy. It’s a really spacious house with a great sized living room and kitchen. The communication was excellent throughout.

Great family stay

Large house in a peaceful neighbourhood, very comfortable for a family with 3 adults, two kids and a dog, lovely enclosed garden and a stunning river walk on the doorstep. Dunkeld is a short walk away, the bonus with a Birnam address is parking which can be hard in Dunkeld itself.

Perfect for what we wanted,attending a wedding , so a great base and loved Dunkeld

Accomodation was spacious and spotlessly clean Beds were really comfortable and parking for 2 cars by the side of the house. We had a problem turning on the oven and the hostess was so helpful in sorting out problem. Really responsive and gave us good advice about the journey to the property as there was an event on locally.

Accomodation was a good easy walk of 15 mins for us with no mobility issues into Dunkeld, but for my friend who struggles with walking , it was hard to find parking in Dunkeld at the w/e and taxis were difficult to get hold of.

Great location, the property had lots of space, very clean, with a fantastic welcome pack on arrival. Lots of good local walks, minuets from the river house. Great, large extensive rear garden with good facilities.

I couldn’t comment on this. We had everything we could possibly need for our stay. If you required something else, during your stay the proprietor was only to willing to help.

Just perfect!

The house was in a perfect location, within easy walking distance to local shops and beautiful countryside. Extremely pet friendly. It was great for a family group of 6 with plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen. We would definitely love to stay again and explore more of the local area because there was so much to do!

Spacious and comfortable. All amenities supplied and catered for, all the basics supplied such as washing tablets, washing up liquid, hand-wash (from previous experience not always the case). Also thank you for the welcome pack, a nice touch.

Exceptional

I travelled with my two daughters and our two and a half year old English Bull Terrier and we loved absolutely everything about this place. The house had three beautiful bedrooms and a big kitchen with everything you need in it. The house was very clean, beds were so comfortable, the area was quiet, I slept like an angel. There is a lovely garden fully fenced with a fire pit. Amazing walk next to the river and only a 20 minute drive to Pitlochry. Also the owner was very nice and helpful. All information from Kae about the stay were clear, easy and she always responded so fast. We will definitely come back.

I can not think of anything that could be better. Everything was excellent.

Lovely very well equipped, home from home with nice additional touches, basket of goodies and things for our wee dog, such as towels and dishes. Very scenic position, close to the River Tay and Birnam oak. An excellent central location. Thanks

Lovely home in a nice area. Friendly people. Just what we needed.

We supplied our own breakfast, but the kitchen was complete, so we never lacked for anything. The basket of goodies that greeted our arrival was a nice touch. The house was clean, well organized, and made us feel at home. Our host was extremely engaging - she went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

The two single mattresses are rather poor for full-grown adults (also - better pillows are required). The bathroom sink was almost plugged and drained slowly. No hot water on our departure morning - hot water heater showed an error and would not reset, so we left without showers.

Happy holidays in a beautiful place

The property was perfect for our triple generation family plus little dog. I cannot fault it. It was spacious and extremely clean. The garden was brilliant for the children to play in and for a sunny bbq. Location was great, 1 minute from the river path into town which took 10 mins max. The hosts had thought of everything, games suitable for everyone, a brilliantly stocked kitchen full of every utensil you could need. We all loved it! The town and surroundings were wonderful to explore, we came by train and didn’t feel disappointed only being on foot, there was so much to see and do.
