Great location overlooking the beach.

The instructions for finding the apartment could be better. The nearby car rental place is not called "Motorway", as we were told. Also we did not know the number of the apartment or the floor it was on.

Δεν ήταν αρκετά καθαρά όταν φτάσαμε. Βάλαμε σκούπα, σφουγγαρίσαμε και καθαρίσαμε το μπάνιο(τουαλέτα και ντουζεριαρα) στην άφιξη μας. Επίσης σκεύη της κουζίνας ήθελαν καθάρισμα.

We spent a wonderful week in Rethymno. Communication with Alexia was very prompt and we got some delicious cheese cakes as a welcoming treat from her mum. The studio is very spacious, bright, clean, comfortable bed, with all the facilities, including Wi-Fi, washing mashine and washing detergent, cleaning products and hoover, coffee making facilities and stove. There is a big supermarket a few minutes away, a couple of bakeries close by, many restaurants and cafes, for eating in or take away. The best thing is the balcony, very spacious and with views of the old town and Fortress, the beach and the sea. You can watch the sunrise and the sunset and enjoy a meal or a glass of wine. Plus it has 3 sets of doors, including a set with mosquito net. The sandy beach is just across the road, with many choices for umbrellas and chairs, while the old town is a short walk from the studio. We did not have a car, but you do not need one if you plan a relaxing holiday on the beach. Highly recommend this beautiful studio in Rethymno!

The road in front is very busy and gets quite noisy, but the doors and shutters are very good at keeping the noise outside.
