Abbey View

Lovely comfy beds, lovely shower, spacious apartment. A couple minutes walk into the main attractions and restaurants. Excellent view of the Abbey from the window

Everything was wonderful. The only slight thing was the sofas weren't very comfortable, but we only sat on them for abit in the evenings😊

Great Apartment, with everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable and homely stay. Just stayed for 3 nights, lovely spacious rooms, good WiFi, smart TV, comfy beds, clean modern and well looked after apartment. Along with a fantastic host with great communication and not forgetting the amazing view of the church & Abbey. We've stayed in Whitby many times and although first time at this apartment, it was definitely one of our favourites. (55 steps up to the apartment did not bother us at all)

Great location in a quiet area within walking distance to the harbour area. The apartment had great views of the abbey across the valley. The apartment ( number 11 Abbey View ) has two large bedrooms, one double, the other a twin. Good size toilet and shower room. The kitchen, dining, livarea is well apoinwith everything you could require for your stay. There was even a welcome pack waiting for us. The apartment was clean and tidy and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

The only off putting thing at the time of our stay was the staircase leading up to the apartment. There had obviously been a massive leak in the roof or a water pipe burst, as there were waterstains on pretty much each floor. And there was a very strong smell of damp. THIS WAS NOT apparent in the apartment!!

The location was good and Whitby was lovely.

The property was filthy, dust and hair everywhere. On the entrance corridor leading to the property it was clear that the building had roof leaks as the walls were covered in mold and even had fungus growing (mushrooms). The welcome pack was out of date 😒 a shame really because if the property owner had invested a little of the profits and employed better cleaners then things would have scored better.
