The flat was very nice and nice views of the Abbey from the bedroom

Lovely modern flat and charming character. Comfortable beds and great shower and bathroom. Decor was nice and in keeping with the location of Whitby.
The stairs are a challenge, probably best suited for younger people as there are 4 flights. After walking up the Whitby hills it was like an endurance test climbing the stairs to the top. Flat was extremely hot in the heat wave and some windows didn’t open, the ones that do only open a small amount, it was stifling hot at the top of the building and a fan or 2 would be a nice addition in hot weather. The Tv only had 5 free view channels and no streaming Netflix, probably because the WiFi is terrible and weak at best.

Overall the property looks very homely and definetly loved the decorations and effort of cleanliness.
I didn’t like the steps to the last floor, I was prepared for them as I had seen previous reviews. The 2 problems I had with the property was the wasn’t dishwashing liquid to wash the plates and only provided a small shower gel. way to small for 3 people. I also noticed that the bathroom and kitchen had other areas that was not so clean otherwise we were happy with our stay.
