Location was very good - very near to all the night life if that’s your priorities in Penang - bus stop is easy accessible also

Parking can be challenging on weekend as only available street parking and noises from the street and neighboring houses can be challenging if you are a light sleeper

Place is well maintained and clean. Location is fantastic.

Not recommended for families with young kids as the tenant below the unit is a massage place and they will complaint if your kids running around the unit. Not recommended for elderly as well as the stairs to the unit is very steep. Toilet is not dark and not well lit.

It’s near to bars and easy to get food or convenience store, there’s a massage store below

Compared to the reviews I read, the actual condition of this property is completely different. Honestly, I’m curious whether those reviews were written by real guests or if the management paid people to write them. The room was dusty, and the lighting was so dim that it was impossible to do makeup properly. The pantry area was also dusty — I had to wash the water boiler before using it because it looked like no one had bothered to clean it. Even the outside compartment for utensils was dusty. The bathroom was another major issue. The floor was slippery because it hadn’t been scrubbed properly. The tiles were painted in a dark brownish-ash color, so the dirt wasn’t visible at first, but once the floor was wet, it felt slimy — especially under the shower area. On top of that, the sink water pressure was extremely weak. It was so slow that I couldn’t wash my face or brush my teeth properly. I ended up having to either use the bidet or stand under the shower just to brush my teeth. The room also had no fan, so you’re stuck using the air conditioner the entire stay. We even found dirt under the bunk bed, which was clearly left from previous guests. There were no curtains in the room. The TV had no Netflix or any usable options — you could only connect your own laptop via HDMI. In other countries, I’ve stayed at places where they provide a QR code to easily log into your own Netflix account, but unfortunately, this unit doesn’t offer that. Basically, there was nothing to watch on the TV. Even the umbrella provided was in poor condition. For the price I paid, I could have easily gotten a two-bedroom apartment elsewhere. The staff responded quickly but were disorganized. They didn’t even realize that I had already paid for an additional night and asked me to pay again. I had to re-explain everything and resend the payment confirmation I had already provided weeks before arrival. At check-in, they even thought I had arrived a day earlier than my actual booking.
