The property was clean, big and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Easy access to town on foot (15 minute walk). Fully-equipped kitchen too. Once the check-in was allowed, we received a PDF with all the instructions to get into the flat. This was great!
The check in time was quite late (at 4pm) and although we were there on time, we had to wait as we were not allowed in for a while. My mother in law died unexpectedly and we tried to cancel the trip but the owner was not happy to cancel and said: “I am sorry for your situation but it is not possible to make a last minute cancellation with these conditions.” We did not want to lose the money so we travelled to Italy in the end but this was not a great experience due to the circumstances. The property was situated in an old building and it was quite noisy at night and early morning. You could hear the neighbours walking and talking upstairs.
