Papaya Villa central Sanur

Papaya villa is a tranquil oasis in Sanur. Bill (our host) is very friendly, attentive and communication was simple. The villa is located close to amenities, restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The pool is surrounded by leafy tropical plants, making it feel like your own sanctuary. We stayed with our 4 month old baby and had a great time. Will not hesitate to book again.

Excellent location and the villa is very comfortable and clean. Bill is also great to deal with and very quick if we had any questions. We loved our stay!

Great villa with easy access to all Sanur has to offer. Plenty of space, good pool, any issues resolved promptly. Bill was a great host and was very kind in sending us something we left behind to our next location in Bali.

We stayed at Papaya villa for one week. It was a very unpleasant stay. Everything is very old, mouldiness in the bathrooms, terrible smell. The swimming pool was dirty and had broken tiles. I wrote it to the owner and he said “I don't want you in my villa”!!! I wish we could leave but it was late evening and I’m with a 4month baby. I told him we will leave after he refunds us. He came drunk at 23:30, we were already in bed. Just opened the door with his keys and start telling we need to go now. We started making video and I said I will call police. Then he left, but I couldn’t sleep because thought he might come back. Next day he refunded us one night and we moved to a hotel. I attach the screenshots of the messages he sent, photos of the villa and will try to attach video of his midnight visit.
