Perfect weekend with the family

Everything was amazing. Location is stunning. We really enjoyed our weekend away as a family. Host couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely beaches to go and have a walk with the family and dog. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Pleasant get-away in the countryside

Spacious, well equipped facility with large private parking and quiet rural location. Have used a number of times now. Hosts responded immediately to resolve an issue we raised & sorted without probs. Has tv with sky & various apps (which you can use if you have a subscription & log in). Kitchen is well equipped & heating system efficient if required. Hot tub working well, located in a private corner with view over the distant hills - weather permitting!

Lovely stay, perfect for what we wanted, a quiet relaxed couple of nights away, very peaceful and private.

All absolutely fine, nothing we didn’t like, would only suggest a dust pan and brush or something similar to make cleaning up a little easier, but that’s it. 😌

BEAUTIFUL PLACE

Great place, pure peace & quiet exactly what we wanted. Came home feeling totally relaxed. We were extremely lucky with the weather even managed to eat breakfast outside a couple of times and lay on the loungers. The hot tub was an added bonuse

Exceptional stay

We stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect. You're out of the way of everyone which is perfect together but there's so much within driving distance. The hot tub is private at the side so that's good. You don't get bothered or see anyone at all which was perfect for us. The view was stunning, the bed is comfy and everything was generally exceptional!

A relaxing family break in the Devon countryside

We truly enjoyed our stay in this relaxing country bungalow. The location was stunning, facing the beautiful Devon countryside. We enjoyed the hot bath tub, a bbq and the comfort of the spacious rooms. It is perfect for families as the two large double bedrooms are connected by a central large living area. The host was very kind and helpful, aways replaying in just a few minutes via the online chat.

Just a minor nitpick, the WiFi and internet connection was a bit weak and patchy. A coat rack by the entrance door would be a useful addition. But overall highly recommended!

A perfect stay in an immaculate location. It was hard to leave and will look forward to returning.

I had few expectations - looking for a quiet space to absorb the location, piece and quiet - but found a gem of a property far larger than I expected. the main living space not only had a large seating area with soft furnishing but also an excellently equipped open-plan kitchen with everything I needed and more. a small dining space was comfortable but not required as I favored opening the large patio doors and lounging on the paved area with a beautiful view of the valley, which only looked better from the hot tub as the sun set. Two bedrooms with large comfortable beds made sleeping easy, and the en-suite bathrooms were spotless and had everything I needed. I even made friends with the chicken.

I spent a lot of my time writing my book and found the wifi connection a little patchy at some times - I was in a remote location of cause, and it didn't effect my work.

Gem of a find! Quiet, home from home and very comfortable

This property is an absolute gem of a find for us, and we love it here! There is no one else around and the views over the fields when you are sat outside in the South facing frontage of the property, you could easily feel that you are abroad, it's amazing. If you are quiet, all you can hear is the birds singing! We have stayed three times here as it's close to my parents, and we now won't go anywhere else when we come to Devon. Having the hot tub is a really lovely touch and so nice after we have been out and about for the day. We always wish we could stay longer and never want to go home.

WiFi needs a boost, but wasn't a massive issue as 5G there is good. But it is also nice not to always need to be on WiFi anyway.

An Amazing Stay even with Storm Bert!

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The host was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The location was stunning, even if Storm Bert decided to crash our weekend plans. The weather had its dramatic moments, but it just made the cozy indoors even better. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely visit again, hopefully without Bert next time!

Stunning, clean & relaxing space

The location was amazing, beautiful views & out the way enough to be so quiet and peaceful yet an easy drive to a few small towns. The rooms were so spacious & beds were comfy. The hot tub was great & the outdoor area would be well equipped during the summer for bbqs etc. all the most up to date Appliances really made the trip smooth

Nice bit of luxury in get-away-from-it-all location

My second visit to the property and as good as before but this time we had sunny weather and able to enjoy sitting outside for breakfast and evening. Facilities good & location in quiet countryside - rabbits & poultry in next door field to watch at times but fence prevented our dog from getting too interested. Host had provided effective cooler as place was hot on arrival but once doors & windows opened, we didn't need it much.
