About this house rental
Though you’re on the sunny California shores of Laguna Beach, there’s a Nantucket vibe to this beach house. Wooden bannisters on balconies, a clapboard facade and a white-wood porch out back give it that New England boathouse feel, alongside nautical touches like painted life rings and scenes of the sea on the walls. After a day at the beach (Treasure Island Cove is a five-minute walk), head back to your peaceful garden for a drink in the shade, or head up to the balcony at sunset and watch the sky and sea streak pink and purple. Perhaps fire up the grill for a fresh seafood feast under the porch. Inside, you'll find a wet bar in the lounge if you fancy a cocktail by the fire. Your host owns a furnishing company, and it shows in the designer sofas and Hungarian goose down comforters on sprawling beds. We particularly love the fresh flowers in the kitchen and the superb views of the ocean from every room.
