I’ll start with the conclusions: we had a great time, the stay was very comfortable. The house is very spacious and well-equipped, with a beautiful terrace and an absolutely essential garage with direct internal access. The location is enviable; situated high on the Areosa hill, with a 360-degree view of the ocean; we will miss the air and the view more than anything. Great kitchen, comfortable rooms. Highly recommended for enjoying the sea and exploring northern Portugal; we visited Braga, Guimarães, of course the town of Viana itself, Barcelos, Esposende, Moledo, Caminha, and took a trip to Porto, all within a maximum of 1 hour by car. Fabulous beaches within 30 minutes. The staff at Gereviana were present, never intrusive, and very accommodating. Go there.

Quiet location.Sea view.Pefect place to take our dog as plenty of walks nearby
Perhaps that no restaurant or cafe nearby to walk to but didn’t bother us as lots of places not far away by car
