Really comfy, cheap, nice location. Really nice man, chatty, answered lots of question and issues we had. Typhoon occurred as we were staying, we ended up staying another night

This is not a hotel but more of a guesthouse with limited rooms and service, on top of a hill with beautiful views. My room had a balcony and toilet but no shower or bath. The property has 2 Onsen rooms. The proprietor is extremely helpful and friendly, even though his English is limited and my Japanese is non existing. There is parking available. I appreciated the ice creams given free after my Onsen.
The route on Booking.com is misleading. The climb up the hill is far longer than 800m (maybe as the crow flies?) from the station. Lugging suitcases uphill is not for the faint hearted, but a bus or taxi are good alternatives. There are no towels provided, only one pillow per bed and the Onsen had to be booked in order to get a shower.

Comfy beds, very good onsen facilities and very clean. Amazing shared kitchen with a great view of the mountains and sea. Kind staff
No showers or toilet in our room. You can use the onsen showers from 7-9am then checkout is 10am. You can’t check in early even if your room is ready
