Location, cleanliness, AC worked well.
We had a problem at midnight when I used the microwave. The electricity went out so I called the help number. The manager picked up immediately and asked me after I told her that a fuse went out "if I was using a hair dryer". I was told that they would fix the fuse asap. That was about 25 minutes later. The room was getting hot & stuffy. When I called the next day to ask if there was any type of compensation for this inconvenience, I was told that they would contact the owners. I called at least 3 times & finally on the 4th call I was told they don't give any type of credit. I should have been told that on the first call! This was a waste of my time.
On our checkout day when I spoke with the hotel manager by phone, he kept questioning me saying are you sure that you weren't in Room 201. We were in Room 206. That told me that this hotel has an electrical problem with more than one room. We paid $289.30/night. Losing electricity is not acceptable and needs to be addressed at M22 Inn Glen Arbor.
