The location, the garden, the warm and friendly hosts, everything was perfect for us. Stunning property, very traditional with a gorgeous pool area just for us plus the fenced garden for the dogs. Lovely walks from the doorstep, boulangerie a short walk away and supermarket just up the road in Burie. Lots of independent distilleries to visit, Cognac less than 20 minutes drive for larger supermarkets, great river walks, a lovely park and shops/eateries 😎
Not so much a "didn't like", for us a washing machine would be helpful if we had stayed longer than a week (which we would love to another time 😊) for just a week it was fine though as we knew we had one for our second week somewhere else.

Charming house with thick stone walls. tastefully decorated by the owners. Outside area even better with loads of space to relax, good sized pool, plenty of seating options. Sylvie was also an incredibly welcoming and friendly host.

Le séjour était comme sur les photos. Maison charmante avec une très jolie décoration, la piscine grande et nécessaire avec les hausses de température. Sylvie la propriétaire disponible et toujours souriante.
